@marciosousa34 Yeah. This is a sleeper song as Dave Grohl stated. So, only fans who really know FF would come here. It's their best song in my judgment. Too bad more people don't know it...
This was one of the great songs Dave shared with Kurt towards the end. This is an incredible song. A super riff. Just imagine if Kurt had lived on. With the talent between Kurt and Dave, Nirvana could have been as great as Led Zeppelin or the Beatles. It's something I think about every now and then. Don't use hard drugs or marry biches people.
@antipopboner Bold statement. I definitely like Nirvana more than Led Zeppelin even though I can enjoy Zeppelin very much. I don't know about the Beatles. What makes the Beatles so spectacular greater than any other rock band is the large volume of high quality music in a relatively short time. But, Nirvana put out incredible music in roughly half the period as the Beatles. No other hard rock/alternative band can touch Nirvana for doing so. The important distinction is lighter and hard rock.
@whpriol1 I mean The Beatles and Led Zeppelin are both great bands.Actually very great bands and both bands influenced Nirvana, The Beatles more though. I think my statement kinda made it seem like I didn't have any respect for the bands. lol sorry :L
Not anymore. I just saw a video of Foo Fighters playing a new song at a club they performed in a few days ago. He's pretty fit now. Just look up stuff like 'White Limo-live', 'I should have known-live'.
i love that they can just bust out this song which they hadn't probably ever played live with this line-up. Shows that they practice a lot and get their songs real tight before ever hitting the stage.
I think he writes most of it on acoustic first, and then works out the strumming/layering on electric. But it's a shame they took so long to do In Your Honor because a lot of it should have stayed acoustic. He's a much better songwriter than he gives himself credit for
good call biglots! I've been rocking to the foo since the first album and perhaps before (diehard nirvana fan) and it's songs like this that show off just how talented grohl really is. The band overall is just amazing! Weenie Beenie and My Poor Brain are just a couple teasures of the many they have to offer. Their cover of Band on the Run rocks as far as covers are concerned.
it is way too bad people don't know the foo fighters for songs like this. I mean some of their singles are great but if only more people knew how versatile they were. Songs like "My Poor Brain", "Weenie Beenie", even "Walking after you" are so different but work so well together.
@Biglotsemployee With all due respect 'versatile' is not the word I would use to describe Foo Fighters. It's all good and enjoyable but it's not that versatile. But it's true that too many people know only the hits and the newer stuff.
@haisevaewok If you don't think Foo Fighters are versatile, you don't really have a clue what you are talking about. They do screamo rock, anthem rock, acoustic ballads. Listen to "Weenie Beenie" or "Wattershed" and then take a listen to "Still" or "Virginia Moon". That isn't versatile? Give me a break.
@0hTehN0se It's awesome to know people love this song as much as me. Always been my favorite. Just raw energy and embodies everything I love about foo.

If Kurt wouldn't have died, this song would've been a Nirvana song... Kurt never wrote the lyrics for it... look it up.
