i work with this guy alot and he is still a ride operator and hes honostly nicer than almost everyone else, some rides are very dangerous so just listen to us and not ignore us and you wont get yelled at
Like coastercub said, respect the sails. I always ask the op if it's okay for me to snap the tubs - I've been told to be easy on the sails, but snap to my heart's content. Which I do, and I'm RUTHLESS. The main issue is that the sails are a pain to repair - Knoebels' in particular, as they are constructed with tightened canvas, unlike most models. Long live the Bisch Rocco Flying Scooter!
Its not the snapping that gets people yelled at, its whipping the sails. A true flyer fiend can get the slack in the cables, and the snap without whipping.
yes, you control how high you go by turning the sail from left to right, which will navigate the air flow towards the ground or up in the air letting you ride it like if u were on a track. i havent been on it in a few years but i work in the rides department, it's a good bit of fun.
oh man that's awesome, you used to be able to hit the pine tree that's right near the candy shop....those ropes are paper thin too, you can almost hear them snapping haha.

The Flyer Has the best Snapping Around, as long as you don't whip the sail everything should be okay

The cables are replaced, snapping them weakens them so the person down the road will get hurt not the one doing the snapping.
