  • Good job , rented a jeep in Utah, could have used your video then. XD

  • this is a fairly easy top to get down, your such a fag and make it look like its sooo hard wow

  • gaywheels? wtf a jeep isnt for fags

  • gaywheels? really?

  • 3:30 "you probably won't do it that often"

-yeah, you clearly don't know what you're talking about.. it may take a little extra time to put down, but it's 100% worth it and 100% why I love my jeep. "It's a Jeep thing.. you wouldn't understand.."

  • You know...you call yourself "Gaywheels", right ? ...Gay wheels !?

  • Comment removed

  • lol people please be nice to him..

  • lol did a cop pass by?

  • haha...gaywheels!

  • you were supose to throw the flaps onto the roof and open the back door so obv you wouldnt hit the tire like you did. plus the way you put your roof down is so sloopy. the roof shouldnt be hanging out of the side

  • I see people in desert tours use this top, with the windowsand doors taken out.

Gives you shade but cools you with air as you drive along.

  • 2:14 Cop: WTF?

  • ....jeep novice!

  • i really dont understand why its 2011 and jeep still wont make the wrangler have an automatic top...

  • WHY! why would you buy a jeep with a soft top?. Jeeps are generally all year round vehicles. Has anyone ever had a soft top in winter. ITS A BITCH.

  • @halflife103 Yeah I do. I love it and to be honest with you I am warmer in my jeep then my spouses car. That thing kicks heat like a furnace. Ever tried to take a hard top off and put it back on later because it rains unexpectedly where you live? Now THAT is a Bitch especially if you try to do it yourself. Give me the soft top anyday..As for this deuche bag..I'd say he needs kicked in the nuts but I Don't think he has any.

  • @HoopdeLa1 jesus, now that you mention the thing about the hard top it makes sense XD as well as made me laugh my ass off for some reason. XD

  • @halflife103 lol

  • Leave the Jeeps to the real men. go buy a corrola or a mini.

  • this guy needs to be duct taped on the front bumper and taken offroad. this is how to break you top.

  • Gaywheels?, please say that this is a joke, please!

  • Any Wrangler with an auto is a gay Jeep.

  • watching people on the internet talk about jeeps when they actually dont own one...is priceless...you people dont have a damn clue...stay in your hondas u fags

  • 5:25 any need to stradlle the car?

  • oh shit the po po is grilling at 2:06 haha

  • Hey Joe -- thanks for walkin' us through the top removal. About to buy a Wrangler Unlimited and have seen a few top removal videos online. Great to get another impression. Haven't decided between the hard Freedom top or the soft Sunrider top. But leaning toward the Sunrider for here in SoCal! (And screw all the negative comments -- effin' bigots....)

  • @rhino1515 I sincerely hope (from one Jeep owner to another) that you do NOT follow this guys advice for removing your new soft top. either follow the manual or have someone who knows how to do it without fn it up show you..This dude is going to eventually seriously damage his shit.

  • this guy has it all wrong. Very easy if you know what you are doing. Also, no need for "velcro" straps..lol

  • I wonder how to fix the zip of windows accurately in the night~

  • YOU'RE GOING TO HELL FAGGOT!!!

  • @phcnh dude shut the fuck up no one likes people like you who hate others because of their sexuality, which is not a fucking choice you dumb fuck

  • The only thing i really enjoy of this vid is the sound of the aircraft departing and landing at this airfield... Hope he is not an aviation instructor...

  • You're a dumbass. All the steps? You act like it takes 10 minutes to take the top down. I can take the one off my TJ in 2 minutes flat. Next you're going to have a video showing people how to take the doors off and start the car. Fucking faggot

  • This is the dumbest video. I just got my rubi. It took 5 minutes to drop the hardtop and install the softtop. Go to gaywheelsdotcom if you are looking for young boys for a date.

  • gaywheels.fart

  • i always fold the top with the back window on , honestly it doesnt seem to do any damage , buy it took me the half of the time, and getting of the top its pretty quick but putting it up, its when it gets hard and swaety , more if youre jeep has a 6 inch lift

  • it's not fucking hard dude... I have one myself and I get the top down quickly and easily.. its soooooo easy

  • i'd prefer a powered top....just saying.

my dad has a 2 door soft top and it's easy enough with practice but still annoying with all the steps.

my uncle has a 4 door and somehow that extra length just adds to the pain of getting things to fold and move smoothly.

  • i ride topless all the time? this guy is dumb in saying you

will have a hard time taking down the top!

  • i think you are supposed to fold the two rear corner pieces on top of the roof before you fold the entire soft top into the trunk

  • Y da camera is so far . Ur Ride looks good

  • Are You in Georgia?

  • Thanks for the great information!!!! Good job!!

  • Really good video joe thanks for posting it.

  • reminds me of taking down a tent

  • fuck that and put some shoes on

  • thanks for that video!

  • You should be driving a Kia. If you ever put my top down the way you did that one, I'd punch you right in the mouth.

  • lmfao

  • @imsoawesom i know you left that comment a whle back, but im buying a wrangler and would love some pointers on the right way to do it

  • Wow... you can carry lots of Boys in that Jeep Wrangler..

  • @Rastamut And maybe, he should 'paint' his Jeep like a rainbow too!

OMG, 'GayWheels' wtf is next? lol!

  • I'm not sure why he thinks that's so complicated, I personally think it was harder to get the soft top off of my YJ than it is to get it off the JK, i woulde killed for all those latches and stuff with the YJ, stretching that YJ top was a pain in the ass!

  • ummm you know you didnt fold the top right in the sunrider position, thus making it not come down all the way properly, thus making it where you have to tuck and fight with it to lay flat.

  • 5:43 FAIL!

  • You act like unzipping and unvelcro-ing everything is such as hassle. It's pretty damn easy.

  • any guy would at least be able to take the time to read the manual, and then tell us how it works. Don't over dramatize the fact that you actually have to read a little booklet. It's not the first time someone has had to read an owners manual, big deal.

  • Oh Please......Is this guy secretly anti jeep? It is not any where near that hard to take down the top...Oh..nice shoes btw...I wonder if he has another video of him showing how hard it is to tie shoe laces.

  • i guess after some time ull get faster at taken it off but damn that seems like a pain in the ass

  • In this video, you drive in flip-flpo or barefoot?

  • Gaywheels....?

  • You make it seem alot harder then it actually is. I can easily take down my soft top in my 4-dr wrangler in probably 2 mins tops.

  • Cool! Thank you for the video!

  • so this makes me glad i have a 2door jk my soft top folds back in 30seconds lol

  • just remember to open up the tailgate before folding down the top. If not, the upper brake light could become damaged!

  • if u have to read the owners manual to remove a soft top from a new jeep , i am sorry but u are a complete dunb shit, im sorry u get the dunb ass award for the day

  • Stryk, you can't give some one the "duMb ass award of the day" if you can't spell dumb.

  • I just got a 4-dr Wrangler two months ago and I can already get the top down in minutes. After the Sunrider mode, with windows removed, all you have to do is stand inside the Jeep, between the front and back seats and guide the soft top down to the back. It is very easy and can be done in minutes by one person. You gave the impression that it's alot more difficult than it really is.

  • thats why you go with a 2 door or just buy a bikini top for it...

  • nice review, but after watching that i want a hardtop. 5:44-fail, haha!!

  • good video I have the same Jeep...I am getting a knocking in the steering wheel and down by the brake pedal...Just wondering if you have the same issue or did you get it fixed and what was it thanks

  • What an ordeal.

  • haha , good video dude. i like how you keep shutting the doors after each window u take off...lol

    OIIIIIIIO

  • THANK YOU!!!!!!

  • I'm shopping for my first jeep and think I'll go with the hard top instead. Thanks for posting the video showing what a hassle it is to take off the soft top. The other thing about the hard top is that you have the option of just removing the "T-tops" (10 seconds) above the driver and front passenger seats which will be handy when loaded down with gear at the National Park and don't want to risk gear falling or blowing out the back.

  • actually , it's not that hard to unfold your soft top..at first it might seem that way cuz ur just figuring out how to do it but it gets easier and faster with practice. Hard tops are cool too though.

  • Well I ended up with the soft top on an '04 TJ & Half doors. Not too bad to remove the top hopefully will get easier each time since I'm a rookie at this. I love the half-doors. VERY easy to remove the top half, just lift up and they come right off. I'm driving around in 100 degree weather with them off which calls my sanity into question. Thanks for the video though.

  • Annara, if you would like to say that to my face, I'd be happy to oblige. I'm sick and tired of assholes like you that hide behind online screen names.

Memo: disco died a long time ago. Get a freaking clue.

  • push that bitch in!! LOL

  • I know you didn't. Ha Ha!

  • soft top... i'm always looking for a good hard top.

  • nice vid. I was wordering how these worked with the 4 door model

  • its cuz your american and you want everthing done for you

just take a bit of time to take the top off ites not that big of a deal

  • Hey Joe, Thanks for the vid! Just bought my first jeep 2008 Wrangler 2 door. Pretty much the same idea, I going out to give it a try now. Thanks again for the very imformitive video.

  • I swear I have a friend who can drop the top completely on his Wrangler Unlimited in like 30 seconds.

(and yes its this new version with the 4 doors)

  • Theyres like a 1000s videos telling you how easy it is and now look at this guy

  • Its not that hard geeeez.....I geuss the top could be stiff the first few times you do it but I dont have to fight hard with mine anymore (2008 unlimited)

  • No...this guy is just fucked up and retarted...

  • Sweet. I've wondered how complicated the new sunrider tops are to take down. Seems pretty easy.

  • it get easier each time, but it is a pain we have 2 of them :O)

  • the side bows should be placed on top then lower the whole top

  • its a nice rugged car.

Shit needs to be rugged too.

  • I really want one.... but the mpg on that car.....

  • Jeep Wranglers get about 19 on the hwy 20 with the 4x2 autos... 14 in the city 16 for the 4x2s

  • Around three minutes to put the top down? Thats absurd! Could Jeep have made it any more compicated?

  • 3 minutes isnt that bad in the way of your on this earth 76 years

  • That's really complicated for a convertible LOL... Most convertibles are a two step job, that's like freakin' twelve... But it looks nice with the top down...
