We currently have a 2010 CX-7 and like it a lot. We were considering a Cx-7 again or a CX-9 Grand Touring package for our next purchase. Which one did you prefer? I know there's a size difference but overall what would be a better purchase?? Thank you.
@dmbrando Hi, a used to drive a CX9, never driven the CX7, It depends on your needs, if you never gonna cary more than 5 people, go for the CX7, same feeling when driving the CX9, same quality and reliability, but if you appreciate the extra seats and cargo, but don't care of MPG and price, sure! take the CX9. It has EVERYTHING, it drives awesome, handles good, plenty of power, ALL safety features you can imagine, full comfort, lots of gadgets on the interior, the best SUV out there.
I just picked mine up for around $37 and it came with all that was reviewed. Plus got a 0% financing plus $1000 rebate plus $500 loyalty discounts. So yeah, it was a bargain compare to some other quality SUV's on the market with AWD.
Nice review, thanks. Blind spot monitoring is nice, but on most cars the blind spots can be removed if the mirrors are properly adjusted so that they do not sight along the body of the car (which is commonly what is taught, but is the wrong way to set the mirrors).
I have the CX-7. Almost got a CX-9 but the gas mileage isn't great. Thanks again. Nice review.
i blind spot monitoring system didnt work because you have to be in drive and above 20mph other wise it would just be annoying and the mpg is 17/24 or fwd in all trims and 16/22 on awd in all trims
is there a USB port???

If you're looking for a six-seater it's better to buy the Mazda 5 for half the price and much better MPG.

"Not as quick"? What? This car is fast, faster than my Mazda 5. What were you thinking? Maybe you wanted to review the Mazda Speed 3 instead?
