@poppokoponta i don't like this version either but they can't help it. they don't really have a choice in what songs to sing maybe it hurts them too having to sing the parts that the other 3 once sang.

Why did they have to remove B.U.T.? You had the only HQ non-live upload on YouTube. I was using it to tide me over until my copy is shipped which takes six to eight weeks and if it is anything like the other TVXQ CDs I have ordered the wait is more like three months! The wait is killing me!

Honestly.. i LOVE this version. Thankfully the weird sound from their previous version as 5 is gone. I dont know why some OT5/JYJ fans still refuse to accept the fact that many fans are enjoying Yunho and Changmin singing TVXQ`s old songs. This is their way of cherishing their songs.
Besides JYJ made it pretty clear that if they could, they would sing old TVXQ songs. JYJ/OT5 fans should know it better than anyone else. So what`s with the ranting/disliking?
If you hadn't listened to it before, then this will sound perfectly fine to you with just 2 voices, but I miss the different layers to it that it had before.
they did so good with this version, even though it's just the two of them...but i can't help but hear the other's when they say 'somebody to love' they're doing really well just the two of them...i'm so proud of them ^_^
Changmin's vocals are much better in this version, his voice is steadier, and it meshed well with Yunho's. The other is... maybe the right word wouldn't be, childish? My opinion, though.
People should never compare them singing as five when they are singing as two or three if you're listening to JYJ. There are far deeper hate in the world that needs to be eradicated. This hate going on between fans--it's so shallow people. Stop it!
i think the reason for some ppl to not like this is becoz this song originally belongs to all five... like Jae once said he didnt really wanted their songs to be sung by either two or three... Its not only Homin blamed... JYJ was also blamed for leaving Homin... Personally i think this version is really nice too... The piano background is gorgeous... but then again, without all five, nothing is perfect... same goes to JYJ songs... Its never perfect without all their harmonization together...

I was jamming to the new TONE album (which was surprisingly good despite the autotune use) when this song popped up and I was like, WTF?!? I didn't know they remade it.
Honestly speaking, from that point on I was too pissed to even enjoy the rest of the album. Had to walk away and listen to the rest of the album later because despite how much I want to support this new TVXQ, remaking old songs just feels cheap and cruel, not just to JYJ, but to old fans as well.
@boblicy First of most albums if not all use auto tune including jyj's album. Yunho and Changmin sing the old songs because they love and have the right to perform them. Jyj can't perform those songs in concerts without the permission of sm and avex. So its not cheap, its their version of the songs they so love. How long should they wait to perform the songs? Supposing they never get back together? When they sing the old songs its not about jyj. Not everything is about jyj and their feelings.

Great job on remaking this. I love it. Changmin and Yunho have improved their vocals so much in the past few years.
But it's lacking simply because they don't have Junsu's unique voice in there. They did pretty good at Jaejoong's part and on Yoochun's, though it wasn't the same. At the part where they say "love" four times...I'm sorry, but I really didn't like it.
@MsFancia I agree with you... I want very much to listen to Tohoshinki singing their old hit songs again. The male artist group Tohoshinki is still alive and kicking, so why should their old songs be buried alive? So far they have done great justice to Rising Sun, Mirotic Medley, and now Somebody to Love as a duo; I believe the new Tohoshinki vocal tone color will definitely add new flavor to the old hits.
I love this version very much. I want to hear more of their old songs; I hope Yunho and Changmin will sing all of their past hit songs later, one by one. SM should copy Avex though, SM should put the 2011 version of Rising Sun in the next TVXQ album XDDDD and re-record the MV too XDDDD
Yay!!! TONE topped the ORICON weekly album chart with sales of 205,000 copies in the first week!!! What an outstanding achievement since this is the first time in 11 years (since Bon Jovi) that a foreign male artist / group has sold more than 200,000 copies in the first week. This is also Tohoshinki's best achievement so far (since their debut in Japan) in regards to their full studio album release.
ok, so I love HoMin and JYJ and I try to support both of them as much as possible. But I just feel, that HoMin shouldn't perform their old songs, it just seems wrong to me ;-; I know that it's not their decision and I'm not blaming HoMin, absolutely not!!

Guys guys,stop fighting,okay?Instead of fighting and bashing JYJ/HOMIN,why don't we at least show our support to them?Let bygones be bygones.They have moved on with their life.I don't want to see Cassiopeia/BigEast bickering with one another just because of a remade song from the past.If you really appreciate them as 5 (not as 2 or 3),support them as much as possible because they have worked really hard for us.You don't want to waste their hardwork all these years,do you?

Honestly.. i LOVE this version. Thankfully the weird sound from their previous version as 5 is gone. I dont know why some OT5/JYJ fans still refuse to accept the fact that many fans are enjoying Yunho and Changmin singing TVXQ`s old songs. This is their way of cherishing their songs.
Besides JYJ made it pretty clear that if they could, they would sing old TVXQ songs. JYJ/OT5 fans should know it better than anyone else. So what`s with the ranting/disliking?

it's like jyj is coming with the peaceful, listen to calm down music
TVXQ fills the other side of good pop music you can dance to
then both sides have some of the other side cause they have to be balanced out
plus i doubt their record campanies would want one ahead other cause that doesnt end well
i still love both sides and hopefully they can be DBSK again one day

Changmin's vocals are much better in this version, his voice is steadier, and it meshed well with Yunho's. The other is... maybe the right word wouldn't be, childish? My opinion, though.

@sunaneify まさか二人で歌うとは思いませんでした、、私はＴＯＮＥのアルバムの赤バージョンを買ったのでこの曲が二人絵歌われていることを今知りました本当に残念に思います。５人がいたときの声のトーンなどを似せている二人のファンに対する気遣いにも少し複雑になりました。これからの世代の子供たちには、東方神起は二人のグループだという認識されてしまうと思うと悲しくて仕方ないですが、私は二人のＴＶＸＱを応援してゆこうと思っています。

i think the reason for some ppl to not like this is becoz this song originally belongs to all five... like Jae once said he didnt really wanted their songs to be sung by either two or three... Its not only Homin blamed... JYJ was also blamed for leaving Homin... Personally i think this version is really nice too... The piano background is gorgeous... but then again, without all five, nothing is perfect... same goes to JYJ songs... Its never perfect without all their harmonization together...

There's a piano tune to it! :D ... this version is very soothing ... the other version is ... hm.. how should I say it... it has like a vibrating tune to it. :P yeah ... same lyrics, but different feeling! Aw! It's okay though! :D This version is awesome too! :D I think HoMin did a very good job recreating this song with two voices! LOL and I can still hear "lub" instead of "love" :D

I was jamming to the new TONE album (which was surprisingly good despite the autotune use) when this song popped up and I was like, WTF?!? I didn't know they remade it.
Honestly speaking, from that point on I was too pissed to even enjoy the rest of the album. Had to walk away and listen to the rest of the album later because despite how much I want to support this new TVXQ, remaking old songs just feels cheap and cruel, not just to JYJ, but to old fans as well.

@boblicy First of most albums if not all use auto tune including jyj's album. Yunho and Changmin sing the old songs because they love and have the right to perform them. Jyj can't perform those songs in concerts without the permission of sm and avex. So its not cheap, its their version of the songs they so love. How long should they wait to perform the songs? Supposing they never get back together? When they sing the old songs its not about jyj. Not everything is about jyj and their feelings.

THEY REVIVED A SONG I LOVE THIS. but i'm saddened by the thought that Jaejoong won't sing a DBSK song. I've realized that Jaejoong stands by a lot of his principles and is always wishing for DBSK to come back. i'm happy that Homin are singing an old song, but i also think that they shouldn't sing it with just the two of them. DB5K CASSIES NEED TO SPEAK UP MORE FOR HOMIN AND JYJ. fans just for JYJ or only for HoMin aren't real cassies. Cassies are DB5K's fan club. don't let Homin take the blame.

Don't blame HoMin for staying, they are real men, they have to stay, what would happen if all of them left SM? TVXQ would never have appeared on broadcast again, and do you think SM would let the 5 boys go comfortably? No, only because HoMin stayed, things are what they are now... and Kpop still have place in the worldwide arena... HoMin keeps the name of TVXQ and all the hardship they went through to get the status they had, their hearts are hurt too, but they don't show to others like JYJ did

Great job on remaking this. I love it. Changmin and Yunho have improved their vocals so much in the past few years.
But it's lacking simply because they don't have Junsu's unique voice in there. They did pretty good at Jaejoong's part and on Yoochun's, though it wasn't the same. At the part where they say "love" four times...I'm sorry, but I really didn't like it.

@MsFancia I agree with you... I want very much to listen to Tohoshinki singing their old hit songs again. The male artist group Tohoshinki is still alive and kicking, so why should their old songs be buried alive? So far they have done great justice to Rising Sun, Mirotic Medley, and now Somebody to Love as a duo; I believe the new Tohoshinki vocal tone color will definitely add new flavor to the old hits.

I love this version very much. I want to hear more of their old songs; I hope Yunho and Changmin will sing all of their past hit songs later, one by one. SM should copy Avex though, SM should put the 2011 version of Rising Sun in the next TVXQ album XDDDD and re-record the MV too XDDDD

Yay!!! TONE topped the ORICON weekly album chart with sales of 205,000 copies in the first week!!! What an outstanding achievement since this is the first time in 11 years (since Bon Jovi) that a foreign male artist / group has sold more than 200,000 copies in the first week. This is also Tohoshinki's best achievement so far (since their debut in Japan) in regards to their full studio album release.

ok, so I love HoMin and JYJ and I try to support both of them as much as possible. But I just feel, that HoMin shouldn't perform their old songs, it just seems wrong to me ;-; I know that it's not their decision and I'm not blaming HoMin, absolutely not!!
I just miss them as FIVE and that's understandable, isn't it?

@jussmittin i don't want to get into argument over what i think...but homin aren't going to remake dbsk's songs, first of all, and, second of all, they have little choice in their song selection. SM owns the rights to dbsk's past songs and dbsk is dbsk, although it's only homin left, so i don't think people should be blaming homin for what they feel is a breach on "db5k".

If I were Changmin or Yunho... I think it would've killed me to record this song without the rest of TVXQ. Yeah, it's nice that they're freshening up an old song, but it seems awful for avex to do this to them.
