@nmarkus666 the min level doesn't take in to account head pressure on the pump. I have that same res, if you have a good pump (350/355/655/etc) and you don't fill it up enough, the water hits the back of the res with enough force to generate bubbles. not to mention gradual tube evaporation. give it a month or two and that loop will be spitting bubbles.
the res can hold water all the way to the lid. i keep mine completely full to avoid bubbles and so I don't have to top it off as often.
dude you don't wan't bubbles in your wc.. your cpu waterblock will be fulled with bubbles and extra heat will get stuck in that little bit of air in the waterblock..
um you know the feser fans....are they loud...i want to use them for my setup but am not sure how loud they are.....other than that its a nice clean build
A nice clean build inside the 800D. Your pump placement is identical to mine as well. However, there are quite a few bubbles in the inlet tubing to your pump, so I would suggest compressing the tubing slightly with your hands to work the bubbles out.
nice build is it noisy? I just bought the case from cyberpower.co.uk liquid cooled and the only thing that I am worried about is the noise levels since its a full metal chassis without padding...
@MrAv1ator Ya it does get kinda loud, I just installed a fan controller and it helped some.. I really wish i went with a smaller size OD for my tubes but maybe on my next build ill get it looking like maliks...::P
you mean this your 2nd personal build very clean well next month is my Birthday so am using that as a excuse to put in my first watercooled setup.And do you have any suggestions on noober mistakes? my system specs

yeah very nice indeed, water cooling tends to get expensive. i almost spend around 450$ just on radiator, pump, fittings, cpu and gpu block. i am assuming the parts probably cost more in Europe. i am thing about making an all out water cooling system ~ 1000usd as i can use it over and over again. good job btw.
Cool video, please just remove the music all together. It will loose you viewers.

Water level is too low. You can fill that res all the way up. You should do that.

600 just for the water cooling hardware. the 5870 gpu was left out the block was also in the estimate

@joshpielak ¨That's insanely cheap, a CPU loop is about €400+shipping
GeeakFreeak 1 year ago
@joshpielak
So 600 bucks just for the water cooling and it's still noisy. I think you got ripped off big time.
