FIRST Off, i love the bikes, however, there are tons upon tons of these pretend messengers in pittsburgh struggling to pedal their fixed gears up slight grades with their pencil thin legs and american apparel outfits and fakenger bags.. it takes me alot of mental effort to keep from choking one of them.....

Same here in london, I feel a little ashamed for having got into the fixie thing now, but I don't like all that pretend to be a messenger crap, I dress normal and just enjoy riding the bike in a different manner, I've bmx'd for quite a while without brakes, and this STILL takes more time getting used to. I enjoy it.

learn to track stand in all 4 combinations.... e.g. wheel turned right, right foot forward, and left foot forward.. etc.... since a backwards circle is essentially a combination of those two repated over and over...
