this is my budys car for you tards sayn shit about holding the brakes he is burning off a set of drag radials, the car no longer is set up this way it looks more pro street now its black with billet specialtes wheels and micky thompson drag tires the old 383 and 4spd was replaced with a new forged internals and aluminum head 383 puting out over 500hp on pump gass backed with a hughes th400 with trans brake, he needs to get some new video of it up

@CamaroClassics I have the same rim's on my '81 Z28. They are American Racing Torq Thruster II's. They look like 17's. 225/45/17 front and 245/55/17's rear. Wheel's and tire's (I have Nitto's) will set you back about $2,000 easy. I hope this helps.

Is it possible to swap the front end of a 1978 - 81 Camaro with the front end of a 1982 - 92 front end? I've always been a huge fan of the body style but I've never really liked the front end looked, however I really love the 1982 - 92 front end.

Anythings possible but its going to be a pain in the ass. You'll have to do some body work to get the body lined up just right since the 82-92 are boxy while 78-81 are round

Well I've already started working on it. The problem is not that the 82 - 92 bumper's are too boxy, it's just that the bottom part is too large, and the hood doesn't have proper clearance, I'm going to have to get a trans am hood, and modify and use that instead.

Just get a cowl hood with an extra few inches of clearance. Don't get a bird hood firebirds suck it'll be a slap to your camaros face putting a trans am hood on it

Trans Am's don't suck, My Camaro has a 383 stroker and even that can't match up to most of the 455's and even some 400's. Anyway, The 1982 - 92 hood won't fit on the 2nd gen body, The stock hood won't work either, there are too many curves on it. I haven't found any suitable cowl hood's either :/ The 1977 - 81 Trans Am hoods are the only hoods that could work. And so what if I'm using a T/A they're both manufactured by GM :P
