  • This is scary to watch, but I think its a wonderful thing to do!Keeping your baby safe is the #1 priority ! Cudo's to you for going the extra mile to keep your baby safe!I think all moms should be doing this including me!!!

  • @caffeinequeen1 and @nani0320 ---Thank you!! after I get so much hate email its refreshing to see other moms just like me who care about their children and understand how important this is. Ladies, I know you will definitely not regret doing this for your baby's sake and you are sure going to be so proud of them too!

  • this is sick poor baby!

  • that look scary! but this training does save lives babies in particular..

  • I just learned about this and want to take my 9 month old now! This is extraordinary! Reading these negative comments are far more annoying then watching her fuss about being in the water. I would rather see her fuss a little then God forbid drown because she never learned these amazing survival skills. SaludosdeChiara thank you for posting this video and spreading the word about these classes!!

  • NERVE WRECKING!!!!!! I DONT KNOW EVEN I COULD SEE MY CHILD DO THAT

  • i really dont care if this helps her. turning a baby over in water and forcing her to struggle for air is ridiculous. I couldnt even finish the video.

  • @BriannaDent FYI she is not struggling for air, this is after several weeks of gradual training and careful supervision and by this time babies are taught to hold their breath for short periods of time before turning over to reach the surface. Trust me even at the beginning stages no instructor would allow more than 7 seconds of struggling and that is completely safe.

  • My 23 month old just completed this course. This is the best thing I have done for my daughter yet. The day I registered her through ISR a 16 month old drowned in a pond in a nearby community. If that poor baby had known how to do this, through training, she might be alive today. Most people do not even know about this which is a shame. Its been around since 1966 and I heard about it two months ago. This will give her those precious mins. needed for MOM/DAD to get her. U did good!

  • @proud2baspano I am so glad to hear that. Another baby who is now safer :) CONGRATULATIONS and I commend you for spending the time to take your daughter to ISR lessons. I know as a mother it is not easy to watch at the beginning but boy it sure does make us proud to see their amazing capacity to defend themselves in the end doesn't it? Just wait until you see her jumping all over the swimming pool having confidence and a blast during swim season :) when all other kids are wearing their floaties

  • I take my daughter swimming from the beginning but this is disgusting. a 4 week old does NOT need to know how to float with winter clothes on. a 4 week old CAN NOT know how to float. She is CLEARLY unhappy.

YOU ARE A DISGUSTING EXCUSE FOR A MOTHER!!!!

  • @nmat85 I feel sorry for you, honestly do... for how ignorant you are. You did not even take the time to read the SPELLED OUT Age and explanations but maybe you cant even read. My daughter was not 4 wks old she was 8 months and capable of getting herself in and OUT of trouble (as this video showcases)

If spending 10 mins a day for 3 to 4 wks to get her the training that could save her life makes me a disgusting mother so be it. I'd rather be called that than find her floating dead

  • this save lives. all parents should do this for their babies.

  • @ShaddapPlease how? :) (honest question, I have nothing against this)

@txcutie: My baby learned to safe herself and there is a second video you should see of her as she is now a fish in the water and happy as can be. She can swim and roll on to her back to catch her breath/relax

  • Her turning over on her back is that whats she suppose to do?

  • omg she is chocking thats sad

  • que ganas de hincharle las pelotas pobre bb, o sea hola anda a tu casa a tomar mate y dejala q juegue en el piso, a ver si te gusta q te metan en el agua y q una vieja te de vuelta!!

  • Great video!!

seems hard to do but is so necessary in case of an accident

    THIS Training ....SAVES LIVES!!!!!

and please don't read ignorant people that just don't get it!!...

You are a great and concern Mom!!! ♥♥

  • @TiffanyMcAuslan Thank you Tiffany. Unfortunately and as you can tell from some of the negative comments here, many people don't get it. I WOULD DO ANYTHING for the SAFETY of my children. This is part of that and my children are both ALIVE thanks to this methos and furthermore ENJOYING THE WATER SAFELY everyday because of it with a sense of pride and independence that this gives them. I am of course always around but they can swim and float by themselves. What is better than that? Cheers to you!

  • Thank you for posting this. It's too bad that Youtube only has haters with negative things to say. I'm looking into training my daughter as well once she's born, and I'll do so because I love her already and her life is precious. Good job on this mamma!

  • @carolinavishnu81 and @MiszManDyPanDy: thank you for your comments..indeed I LOVE my children very much and because of that I only want them to be safe. My second child (now 1yr old) has also gone thru the ISR program and both cant have enough of the water. We enjoy it in fact, every single day and while I am always around to watch my children I feel so much better knowing they have the skills to get themselves to safety should they unexpectedly fall in. It has been nothing but a blessing!

  • I really wish people would stop judging good parents esp so quickly, i mean none of you people know these people (in the video) and for you to watch there video and act like you know it all and try telling them how to raise there OWN children is so rude i'm sure there are other hobbies you will find interesting, let the parents do the parenting and if they need advice they'd ask im sure!!

  • 4 weeks of fricken training? people throw there babies in the water and they go to there back and throat, ur forcing it underwater like a rere.

  • Wow, I wish we had one of these classes nearby!

  • that baby is choking and coughing, I'm all for teaching babies how to swim, but you NEED TO PULL THEM UP ONCE IN AWHILE .It's a BABY, their coordination and physical capabilities are only so developed, have some common sense!

  • @spinspinnsugar - Did you not watch the video in its entirety? Of course the baby is pulled up every now and then. This is done under constant and careful supervision but it is also a test of this baby's ability to stay afloat and ALIVE should it fall in the water with no one around.

  • that baby does not look happy at all its complaining and crying how tramatising

  • @girlygoth180 See part two of this Video as my daughter is now two years old and loves to swim! then tell me she is traumatized

  • we have had a pool for 40 years with three generations learning to swim in our pool..and i think this is a horrible torturous exercise for the baby ! Never let children near the water without an adult period....but not this...too extreme. Bet the kid grows up to hate the water..ha!

  • @ohiojib Well if you stop being cynical and judgmental for a moment and look at her other swimming videos towards the end of the course you will see how far she has come and you'll see she is very much into water, and loves it!

  • I got a better idea. Keep your eye on your kids 24/7

  • Very awesome! She could float like that for a long time! Good job!!

  • wow that is so cool! and scary.....

  • omg i cant watch something like this..,this would scare me too much....its life saving but its too much to take

  • Thank you for loving your child enough to put her through a little discomfort to teach her the life saving technique of floating.

My 2yr old nephew fell into the family pool trying to reach a ball. He drown within 2 minutes. If he had been taught to float he would still be alive.

  • @Jcwisecup oh my im sorry for your loss...

  • @Jcwisecup am sorry to hear that...

  • @Jcwisecup oh my oh my i am so sorry

  • the baby looks so happy.hahahah

  • What you are referring to kawna is called "dry drowning" ) and the boy's death that made it to the news you probably heard this from in the first place, was in the water without knowing how to swim for over an hour! Tthese lessons on the other hand teach young infants precisely what to do when they fall into the water so that they dont drink it and float to save their lifes! Plus they are done under such careful circumstances (for one they are no longer than 10 mins long) that this is monitored.

  • yall stupid puttind those babies lives in danger

have ever heard of second hand drowning?

  • Before you call people stupid you might want to inform yourself.

  • What kind of person are you? You seriously think this mother is trying to drown her baby?? She's trying to prepare her if she was to ever fall in water

  • In danger? 1- it's supervised 2- I'm 100% sure this is not what they do in the first class. She already learned NOT to breath in the water before doing that much.

  • You will not regret it jubeda. This class is so worth it!

  • Well done to your little girl, my babies will be staring to do this now!!

  • I haven't felt this tense watching a video since the Bourne Supremacy! :) Seeing is believing, this is just wonderful and amazing!

  • Son los cachetes =P

    Wow this really neat
