the push knob on the upper left of the knobs that changes the type of pedal in my m13 is not working.is it an easy fix? its like stuck

@aceman42 It may be that the knob bottomed out. If you carefully take it off and put a piece of business card in the knob, you may get enough travel.

If I were to buy this NOW, does it already HAVE everything, or are half the efx up to the Line 6 Magilla Gorilla...which, since I'm not an astronaut and don't have the degrees it takes to build flying saucers or whatever, WILL NOT work for me; that kind of stuff NEVER does. I was trying to update my x3 from that-- nothing would happen. Not EVEN the ELEVEN-YEAR-OLD-KID from next door could get it to work!! So what does THAT say...DAMN...

anyway a question, Would you recommend to buy this, or for the same amount of money should i buy the pod hd 500 and get pretty much the same effects, but also amp modeling?

@heavymetal1110 It really depends on what you want to do. Do you want amp modeling and great effects that are made up of presets you use or do you want just effects that are very easy to use and more like a pedalboard on the fly kinda deal? They are both great units, just depends on application.

I thought my M13 was broken yesterday. I have it in a skb ps45 pedal board getting it power from the board. I turned it on and started jamming with my band and the M13 started to turn on and off. I felt like crying thinking it was broken. Turns out my pedal board power is f'd up. So i connected it to my powre conditioner and it is still working like a charm. It sucks if it breaks cause im unemployed right now and going through rough times.

Does this unit color tone of the guitar ?

My expirience with line 6 products was not great (pod xt live), it killed the individual sound of my guitar

@coffeeflush You can run the M13 in true bypass so that when your effects are off actual mechanical relays trip and send your guitar straight through from the input to the output. It has been out a while and one thing guys talk about is how it doesn't muck up your guitar's tone that it works well with your guitar.

@hawg427 Product Manager for the M13 here. The new PODs have all the effects from the M13 built into them now. The old PODs did not have enough DSP to run amp models and M13 fx, so it is a big improvement for POD to put in our premium fx that artist have been using for years. M13 was born from the DL4 and the other 4 button stomps.
