@AdrenalineAddict610 Florida has the sunshine sky way bridge, the Everglades, the florida keys, Miami, St. Augustine, Shuttle launches, largest cruise ship port in the world, one of the only subtropical/tropical environments in north america and a diverse mix of wildlife, most only found here. All that could be put into a 5 minute long ride.

i remember this ride, it was absolutely amazing! u could smell the oranges when u passed over the orange field, it got colder when u passed over the ski mountain, and there was a slight spray of water when u passed over the ocean! It made u feel like u were actually flying in a hanglider!

Yeah lol where you jump and pop the bubbles. Last time I went was Christmas '07 and we also had a RIDICULOUSLY long wait time, but we got the whole long line to do the Wave. It was SO epic. XD

Florida doesn't have the geographical diversity California sports; the diversity within California helps make the ride more exciting. There's not many other states with Ice capped peaks and scorching deserts within 200 miles of one another. Not a lot of places would match the changes in geography like California. If they wanted a fullly diverse experience similar in concept to California, Soarin' over the US or the World would be a better way to do it.

@AdrenalineAddict610 CA is cool but I would say Florida is awesome too! Florida has some of the most beautiful Beaches in the world as well as the everglades, beautiful and diffrent WildLife. And in CA there is bad traffic. Florida is a perfect (sp?) getaway. What more could you ask for? Sunshine, Beaches, palm trees, Disney World! Florida is nothing but perfect !!!! <3

An amazing ride, but they should've made a new version for WDW... California is a state worthy of being flown over, all the different land forms, etc. but Florida? no, not really. Epcot needs Soarin Over the World. Now there's a great idea!

I love this ride. my sister who is afraid of heights even loves this ride its so relaxing and fun and it really feels like your flying. If your terribly afraid of heights i wouldn't go on it. But this ride is fun and perfect for any age. My grandmother is 65 and has heart problems but she loves this ride. My 6 year old cousin loves this ride too

OMG!!! I saw this 2 months before our trip there! I cried 2 tears of happiness in anticipation of going. Im not sure if it was the music or what but I felt like taking a mouse and deleting all days leading uo to my trip. and what a great trip it was.

I love this ride...my whole family does too...my mom, who get motion sickness and is terrified of getting on anything came off this ride with a huge smile on her face...I love that they add smells and effects like that...truly one of Disneys best

Oh yeah! To make it even more enjoyable, use a fastpass. We did, and we got in early :D

yea that ride has a super long wait time!!!!!!! i always try to get a fast pass. one time my mom and i waited in line and the wait time was 100 minutes but we ended up waiting in line for about 20 minutes and it felt like the 80 minutes was them playing the video of the instructions for the ride a gazillion times! i love that they have those huge screens that are interactive!!! =)

This ride was made specifically for Disney's California Adventure. That's why over here it's called "Soaring Over California". Seems a little odd for the Florida park.

A "Soarin' Over Florida" would fit wonderfully. One of the reasons they probably kept California is because of the state's diversity, since you see both snow-capped peaks and tropical beaches. Florida (No offense to the state) just doesn't have as much geographical diversity.

That ride was a lot of fun.

Word of advice -- make sure to inhale through the nose. Why? You'll see.
