alexi cannot be playing this on stage because it sucks. this stuff is just for practice when sitting down. besides, people become famous by creating good songs, not by showing off on stage, it would be boring.

To be honest, I think it has a lot to do with the style change of Bodom. He started playing much more bluesy solos, and started to get away from all the really technical stuff. He just doesn't practice difficult stuff anymore, simple as that.

@osalbaro Lots and lots of practice. Hours heaped upon hours. Alexi actually was pretty fascinated by sweep picking when he first started out, so he would practice them for hours on end, just trying to master them.

@bloodd3vil necrophagist is good but while their music is extremely technical they do not care to play in harmony with each other like COB do, so one small mistake in their live shows would not be registered. COB requires accuracy accuracy accuracy thats why you hear the occasional sweaty finger slip live.
