I found a nice little app that is supposed to tell you if your WII has any issues. For the price of the app it was worth it.Now I can check other friends consoles if needs be. It's only for the iphone i think. Google "system dr. + martialapps" and check it out. Maybe it will help in the future.
i have an nes, a gameboy advance(gold btw)a gamecube, sp, ds and they all work after several years except for ds, i had it for a year and 3 months, but it still works, i just need a new battery cuz its low
hey i work at noa ( nintendo of america) and i have gotten alot of those. the wii is obviously over played and wat not but the fan....the fan motor is most likley blown.
This ticks me off. Nintendo had great customer service for anything. My house caught fire, and my Wii and stuff survived (Though, they had soot around them), but my Bro's PS3 and PSP literally melted. We called Sony, and they said they cannot replace them, since it was an act of 'God', unless the PS3 started the fire... Oh, then they need to pay MILLIONS for damages to our home, which I know won't happen. Also, his GBA SP survived....
ya and since action replay is used on nintendo its made from datell so....that breaks.pretty easily to,it can also break nintendo so its like the devil has power over gods insurance =(
with all consoles u shudnt move them about like u just did cus i did it with my ps2 a lot and the fan stopped and the game kept crashing so thats ur problem
Listen if your wii is doing this or is making wierd sounds, broken, can't read discs, etc. call nintendo they will fix it for free there number is: 1800-255-3700. i hope that helps.

My fan broke too. And then, to add insult to injury, the wii randomly resets.
