If you flash your baseband to the iPad's baseband, then you can still unlock, so it should work.

Thanks alot man! i have t-mobile. it was unlocked before too. but apple tricked me by telling me to update my version and then restore it. so when i did it couldnt get out of recovery mode and wouldnt let me restore it because it was jailbroken. so then i downgraded to the lower version. mine was 4.1. then came out of the recovery mode using redsn0w. and then i came here on your video to get my service back. and then went to your unlock video. and now its all good. back to normal :) thanks man

Got an iPhone 3G, 4.2.1, Baseband 06.15.00. Jailbroken with Redsn0w 0.9.6rc14. It is unlocked with Ultrasn0w. I am not receiving any Push notifications. I have tried to get them working using Push Doctor but certs are impossible to get hold of so I have tried following all these guides for SAM. "Download SAM and SAMPrefs, Deactivate with Redsn0w, Deactivate in SAMPrefs, then Activate through iTunes." Still cant get the Push working. Used Push checker, at least 86 others with cert. Suggestions?

@garyjz3 Yes. I have the same problem. But what I found out is that you only get that error if you are running 3.1.3 so downgrade to 3.1.2.
