You wouldn't know what a giveaway was because Kaberle often gave it away too, and it was always McCabe that had to back him up all the time. Quite often it was the forwards giving the puck away, and McCabe had to always cover up for them. And to think McCabe's plus/minus rating was always better than Kabby's must tell you something.

Giveaway - when you make a giveaway you give turnover the puck. which Bryan McCabe did about 4 times a game,  he'd make about 3 little turnovers then one huge fucking turnover where he passes the puck cross ice right onto an opponents tape, often giving him a breakaway. You must be blind or just dumb to think that McCabe is good in his own end. Kaberle is a MUCH better player than McCabe is.

You say FOUR giveaways a game, those are NOT statistics, just your observations on what giveaways are. The guy had a good plus/minus considering how bad the other Leafs D were, and their forwards. Those are stats, look them up. Stop bashing McCabe because of ONE bad goal, or ONE bad playoff series against the Flyers. Kabby has been just as bad if not worse.
