  • Although "Deseret" is derived from and used a lot in the LDS community, the newspaper is a reputable one and not controlled by religious fanatics. I get said newspaper and most newspapers are written objectively and some come from writers who criticize some of the LDS agenda. I think both the religion and the state are misunderstood. Over half (52%) of adults in Utah are not Mormon (myself being one of them). There is a lot of diversity throughout the state (especially in Salt Lake City itself.

  • Actually well at least last year Labs were responsible for the majority of bites in the United States. I've been biten by a Chihauhau and a Maltese who took off the tip of my pointer finger when I was 14. My pits are loving and sweet.

    ok, not literally. LDS does.

    But "Deseret" was derived from the Book of Mormon which stands for "honeybee"
