  • Thomas Jefferson!? really?

  • "Anyone can become president..." LOL

    "It's a complicated job..." That's right!

You could tell he wanted to say "Yeah, it's LIKE that!" LMAO

  • Chris Matthews is so wonderful...

  • Chris Matthews is cutter trash...

  • 2:24 - 2:29 they tried making his face look wierd with the camera...

  • please everyone in romney, santorum and gingrich camp .... please ask yourself ... do you honestly want change? ... you're not going to get it with these guys ... you'll get compromise ... you'll get more fed debt ... you'll get deeper into global conflict ... you'll have worse dollar ... you'll have higher oil and gas prices ... etc etc. if all the republicans got behind ron paul he'd destroy no-bama in general election ... it would be a revolution (LOVE)

  • absolutely kicked his ... uh uh switch switch i understand (sure) uh uh

  • It's weird how people always say this shit that Matthews said about oh we need government to take care of people in society, yet they never look at a simple chart of the poverty rates since we've had this expanded government 'safety net'. The poverty rate was continuously lowering in the decades prior to the 70's and then once the welfare state came into being it stopped lowering! Like even if you thought that the theory that we need government to take care of the less fortunate sounded

  • plausible, why not just look at the statisticds, the measured data of the effect that these programs would have. You'd see that they're a complete failure! In fact I think that the reason why 'the left' even continues to exist is because people are too lazy to pull up the charts on what the effects of their policies are on google!

  • *statistics*

  • Yo Mathrews, you are straight shit bro.

  • I get that people hate Bill O'reilly, I get it. He's an arrogant prick, but HOLY SHIT, this guy tops in a heart beat. Total Fucking Asshole for no reason.

  • 5:00 how 'bout... uhhh, thomas jefferson?! "meh"

  • Weird thing happened to me while watching this video. As much as I like the Scandinavian welfare model, which i'm currently using, because i'm unemployed. I can't help but think that, Ron Paul might be good for America. I think he actually might take America to a better place... I kinda hope he wins now.

  • Blah, blah, blah...you can talk over Ron Paul as much as you want, but he's still RIGHT.

  • Teaching, Teaching, Teaching...

Dr. Paul is ALWAYS teaching LIBERTY!

  • Come on. Of course the signs are meant to be edgy. What movement doesn't have edgy signs. You only have a limited amount of space to make a point.

To act as though this is only evident in the Tea Party shows your true colors.

  • this is every news-interviewer: "HELLO! I'm GOING to talk loud prove a point, COMEBACK after the commercial I"LL be talking even louder, AAAAAAH AAAAAAAAHHH.!!!! "

  • i love the sign "spay and neuter liberals" hahahaha

  • Also, is Chris living under a fucking rock? Umm, when Bush was in there were people mocking his image with hitler signs, comparing him to hitler, saying he's dumb, a hick etc, etc.....but why doesn't Chris mention that? Oh yeah, because he chooses to see the glass half full as always and will back a liberal if it was a dancing monkey from the (D) party...plain and simple.

  • @MKF30 That reminds me there were also signs depicting Bush as a monkey.

I doubt Chris ever admired Goldwater. I think he says that to make us think he is a free thinker.

  • @MaHaRushie Yeah, that too...but if someone did that to Obama, all you'd hear would be "you're a racist!!" outrage...

Yeah, after watching all these Chris Matthews "hardball" vids with anyone with opposing views despite party, I'm convinced he just tries to out yell or be louder then whoever he talks to.

  • @jtnorg and Eulerkaku, actually you're both wrong. Bill O is a fierce independent that leans right, but has always bashed both Bush and Obama....thus he is nothing like Chris Matthews. The only thing they have in common is they both yell or are loud in debates, other then that bill is 100x smarter then chris it's not even funny...but hey at least Bill doesn't have "thrills down his leg" when someone gets elected...I rest my case. I'm not a fan of bill but Bill would eat Chris alive one on one

  • Chris Matthews is very close to Bill, but not quite there. He hasn't reduced himself to calling opponents pinheads or telling them to shut up repeatedly. He is very obnoxious though and does speak unnecessarily loudly. Irritating person and this is coming from someone who leans more toward the left

  • Chris Matthews is the Bill O'Riley of the Left!

  • "This bill makes me sick" That's offensive? Obama was not elected legitimately. I've seen the polling stations, it's old ladies that can't even see. Anyone can go in there, NOT show id, and vote. American "elections" are a fraud.

  • hey why don't we let the people were interviewing talk?

  • Right off the bat, it's an insult. Matthews is pure scum.

  • anyone wanna riot if Ron loses?

  • @aimlessignorance, how about instead of riot we show some class and do something legal like a protest march or pull all our money out of the stock market at the same time?

  • @aimlessignorance

I'm IN! You have my sword sir.

  • @aimlessignorance I hate that shit. Can't stand it.

But I can make an exception.

  • @GoonOnFire peace is key tho seriously...but sometimes u just have to fake force and the system get scared

  • @aimlessignorance yea we can peacefully march around and ask ppl to change..its working so well for the forest and wall street protesters

  • What a nasty piece of work Chris Matthews is.

  • Matthews, Every 10 fucking words its an insult.

  • Is it me or is Ron Paul pretty epic? :D He is 76 years old, but stands up to nearly everyone. I don't live in USA, but Ron seems to be a pretty good candidate for USA presidents position.

  • for fucks sake stop interrupting paul!

  • Ron Paul Will never back down, He has to e president, we cannot let the establishment win again.. its our future. and its time we take back this country

  • I looked up the word "blowhard' and "windbag" in the dictionary and lo and behold under both was entered the face of Chris Matthews

  • we need an economist in the white house not a charismatic leader

  • @flow3232 cant tell if sarcasm... or is just a douche

  • Chris Matthews needs to shut the fuck up and let Paul finish answer the questions that HE asked him.

  • Chris Matthews, just because you can talk loud doesn't mean you are winning this debate. Shut up.

  • chris matthews tactics: identify when someone is about to say something contrary to your views and start yelling loudly before they get to say it.

  • Chris Matthews is a douche. Ron Paul is our Neo to Goverment's Smith

  • "Some writers have so confounded society with government, as to leave little or no distinction between them; whereas they are not only different, but have different origins." - Thomas Paine, Common Sense.

Society and government are not the same thing, as it was seemingly used in this videoby Chris.

  • Shut the fuck up when you ask a fucking question and someone tries to fucking answer.

Fuck this was hard to watch.

  • Ron Pauls' & all conservatives' mistake is that they think they're invincible: No accidents will ever happen to them, cos they're frugal? Yah rright! Anything bad might happen to u. And RPaul has a size problem: he believes in neighbors helping each other, in a community, but when that community grows bigger, like 50 states big, he all of a sudden doesn't believe in communiity anymore?

What's this crazy idea that all Texans care for each other, but all Americans together are evil?

  • @TheSteelGeneraI we're not invincible. we have made the sacrifice of allocating some of our hard-earned money toward insurance policies. When accidents happen to us, we don't cry injustice, we call our insurance. Bad WILL happen to me, yes. But I will wear a helmet, wear sunscreen, drive safely, buy food from safe sources, pay for a better school, choose a decent major, etc. If after all that, I crash a bike, get skin cancer or get food poisoning, I will recur to my health/property insurance.

  • @TheSteelGeneraI when you realize that the majority of officially-poor families in the US own an Xbox game console, you'll start respecting their financial decisions. And by respect I mean don't judge it but also don't subsidize it.

  • @TheSteelGeneraI americans aren't together americans aren't making the decisions corporations are.

  • Heroically, perfect word. This man is a modern Hercules.

  • Im so proud of how Ron Paul handles interviews... win or lose, my vote goes to him

  • Ron paul doesn't have the personality to win. it's like arguing with a woman, americans don't give a shit about logic, they like friendly people they could have a beer with. He's gonna fade into obscurity.

  • @TheEviIOyo its funny that you say this, cause my sister is rooting for santorum and told me ron paul was weak, and i told her , i dont need him to be strong hes not gonna fistfight, i need him to be smart and logic, so i guess just like my sister theres tousands or millions of people thinking the same

  • @TheEviIOyo there's a big problem when people elect presidents by their personality and charisma

  • why is this 'chris matthews' guy constantly yelling? did he suffer a tragic voicebox accident or something?

  • I'll vote for you...!!!!!!!!!

  • America Taking over the world.

    Keep calm and

    Carry on

  • AMERICA IS SICK..VOTE IN THE DOCTOR!

JOIN THE REVOLUTION-TAKE BACK THE CONSTITUTION-RON PAUL 2012!!!

  • Hes way too humble. IMHO. He is our leader....sparta!

  • "and then i grew up" don't you mean "and then i was bought"

  • so funny,, these news guys are just so fucking dumed down

  • I feel like Ron Paul is about to be on Chuck Norris' level

  • Chris Matthews is the best example of the fact that we can't protect stupid people from themselves!

  • I love the "hitler moustaches" and "hate the guy" talk Chris had towards the tea party when talking about obama... Where was that when the libs did that to Bush? Same political office...

  • @rrrrramone I know, its simple Media double talk.

  • @rrrrramone that was mostly a result of anti-war protests. Do you need to protest Obama's fearless warmongering? No. You do not. The tea partiers make the claims they do without any factual evidence. You've never seen anyone come up to Bush's face and call him a fascist, did you?

  • @Bleumange The tea partiers, like a lot of Americans, dont like how Obama is running the country. Government interference, entitlements and spending are the highest theyve ever been and his budget is a joke. You probably like Obama and thats youre opinion but do pretend he's doing a good job.

  • @rrrrramone Inheriting a deficit from Bush and doing an almost half-decent job trying to recover it doesn't justify labelling him as a communist, muslim (why would that even be a bad thing?), apparently Nazi (they're not apt historians), and a savage with a skull in his nose. My point was, that the protesters were outraged at Bush's warmongering.

  • @Bleumange I find it absolutely hilarious that when this countries finances come into discussion OBH still gets the "he inherited it from Bush" pass. So I'll continue to repeat... You can't take a 1 Trillion $ deficit and turn it into a 4 Trillion $ deficit in under a year, and then almost DOUBLE the national debt in a little over 3 years (15.5 trill), then blame the guy before you. and yes he's a marxist

  • @fireonthaalta Regardless of his handling of the economy, none of his policies are extremely socialist. Spouting Marxism is a hilarious exaggeration. You're just blinded about the already existing amount of socialism in how the country already runs and now you have a candidate you can easily pick on for the slightest deviation.

  • @Bleumange "Regardless of his handling of the economy, none of his policies are extremely socialist"... Let me think... Obamacare, Non-stop Bailouts, continuing expanse of Govt. to name a few. Just to put it out there I found it easy to pick on Bush too.

As for the exaggeration on the marxist claim let me quote John Drew (Occidental Classmate and fellow communist enthusiast) "Obama was already an ardent Marxist when I met in the fall of 1980,”. It's really not that hilarious.

  • @Bleumange And my point is that Obama sucks as a President and as a leader. He's failed in all categories and Americans are fed up. I love the media double standard too about the Tea Party and the occupy Wall St idiots. What exactly did occupying land you dont own accomplish anyways? Obama is also a Socialist (according to the definition) at best and I leave religion out of it. The shit Bush got was way worse, BO just cant handle criticism.

  • @rrrrramone learn ur politics then get back to the comment section

  • @brianbingman44 looks like he did his homework....you're just making excuses for a failed messiah. he's done nothing he promised he would do.

  • @s0be2266 Some advice: dont use campaign buzzwords and recycled political dialect with me good sir. if you would like some form of debate come at me proper. and you know what you are saying about Obama is not completely true it just sounded good when you heard someone else say it so you typed it in.

  • @brianbingman44 what campaign buzz words? I simply said he was a failure, and made the observation that all the promises he's made have not been kept. If these words are too hard for you to understand I recommend you find a dictionary. To help you out, here are some words to look up: Liar and Failure. Those are the words that i essentially used to describe Obama.

  • @rrrrramone What I'm saying is that Bush did marginally more to deserve slander. Regardless of Obama's track record (and the minimal amount of socialism he represents compared to already-existing invisible socialism running the country) does not mean he deserves to be labelled as Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Marx, a black stereotype, a terrorist or a muslim (a non-sequitor) for poorly handling an economy. There is no double standard.

  • @rrrrramone In any case I'd prefer a marxist to a fascist. Obama is actually more small-government than most of the republican candidates, especially on social and health issues.

  • I wouldn't say it's heroic. He's just not letting someone who's loud overbear him. If he has a heroic skill here it's remaining patient.

  • Ron paul is awesome, that other blokes drinks to much coffee or has adhd.

  • Why can't people save money? I don't get that? In China they save 50% of their paychecks.

  • @xLouDNoiSeSx well, speaking from someone freshly out of school, its because after you pay the bills there is nothing left. easy enough for you?

  • Funny that America is known as a country that doesnt have a good healthcare, now argues with Ron Paul about how good healthcare is.... lol The US only has GOOD healthcare for those whom pays. so what the difference with Ron Pauls view?? rich people always gonna pay for good healthcare. its the poor people that dont get healthcare now of before. with obamacare or without. So try it Ron Pauls way! he gives power to the people the ones whom should have it! Zorrrooo :D

  • I disagree with ron paul on this one i do think that everyone should have access to health care. and i do think it should be somewhat social.

  • This fagot of a reporter should just shut up and let Ron Paul speak for awhile and don't interrupt him all the time.

  • Matthews is one annoying piece of shit man. He's MSNBC'S Bill O Reilly.

  • @YTSForever Agreed

  • @YTSForever matthews is left wing at least, meaning that his morality isn't entirely fucked up. Still a douche.

  • @YTSForever couldnt have put it better

  • Comment removed

  • @YTSForever You're wrong. Chris Matthews isn't an arrogant dick. Yes, he would seem obnoxious to those belonging to the other party, but his character is not like O'Reilly.

  • @rpsmith014 I don't think anyone is wrong for their opinion. I find CM to be very arrogant, as is seen by his constant interruption of his guests. It isn't interviewing if you don't let your guest speak.

  • @zoator I understand that.

  • mathews is just an asshole right from the get go.I don't agree with Ron Paul on everything but he doesn't have to take crap from this mathews bozo.

  • I find it funny that these interview "traps" aren't even effective on Ron. He KNOWS his stuff.

  • @TheModdedwarfare3 Matthews uses INTERVIEW TRAP! It was not effective.

Ron Paul uses LOGIC! It's super effective!

  • @Starpilot149 political pokemon?

  • @CrxGod420 Ron Paul's policy on caucus deligates:

"gotta catch em all! gotta catch em all!"

  • @Starpilot149

    And it's a Critical Hit!

  • @TheModdedwarfare3 If Ron Paul were superman, he has an acquired immunity to kryptonite.

  • chris mathews needs to shut the hell up and let him answer....... dumb asshole

  • SHUT UP Chris! (*61)

Next time invite only Oh-lier or yourself to your show.

  • Dipshit - "How about Coolidge, you people love him, you wanna go back to that?"

Dr. Paul - "How about Thomas Jefferson?"

    BAM!

  • Chris Matthews love to hear himself talk. When he "interviews" someone, it's really more like having a audience to listen to him ask and answer his own questions. Insecurity. He's afraid if he shuts up, it will become apparent how wrong he is.

  • Oh for christ sake would someone LET THE MAN FINISH.

  • why do people always bully this guy around, and give him serious attitude? just listen to what he has to say, and vote. why are americans always trying to sensationalize their opinions?. if you don't like it, don't vote. if you do like, go vote. why all the shouting? if someone came up to me on the street and started shouting like this interviewer, i would just get bored and walk away. i would vote for ron paul simply for his calm demeaner and good manners.

  • Chris Matthews' voice is too abrasive and slurred to listen to, how do people watch this show?

  • it was actually a good interview. tough but good ;] both in terms how ron presented himself and in terms how it was held ;]

  • Not that I'm for the Republican Party or anything, but Democrats did the same thing to Bush that these guys did to Obama though I'm sure Chris Matthews would have endorsed the slander against Bush. The point is that it we're allowed to call the President all the names we want and no one can tells us otherwise. Welcome to the 1st amendment Chris Matthews

  • So I have to pay into Social Security, a program that'll probably be insolvent when I'm able to collect, because some irresponsible douchebag may not have. I've got a great idea, fuck off and leave me alone! Fucking govt.

  • RP2K12

  • it would be wonderful if chris's tongue petrified in his mouth!

  • So sick of people assuming Hoover was a small-government free-market type... He was a radical who longed for a return to the WWI command-economy, and the New Deal began under him.

  • That guy is an asshole... and a stupid one to boot!

  • Chris Matthews: "We need social security because back in the old days, old people that didn't save money for retirement used to move in with their kids. Now old parents are in the old neighborhood and their kids are 1.8 million light years away into a land no man has ever gone before, THE SUBURBS!!!"

    Like a subordinate!!!!

  • did that loud-mouthed porcine just say that bill o'reilly "knows what's going on"?

  • I've never been a giant Paul fan, but I hate Matthews, and Ron Paul destroyed him, so the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

  • "....and the I grew up". Way to start an interview with an insult. Welcome to the typical approach of the bottom feeding media slime-balls. Anyway...Thanks Chris "Mr. Tingle" Matthews...I'm giving Ron Paul a serious look NOW more than ever! Every time I hear him speak he has clearly defined opinions and values on everything...even a media slug like Matthews can't find a weakness in him!

  • I don't recall Paul ever making a serious ind run. A lot of liberal peaceniks like me, would consider voting for him bacause of his sensible for.policy

  • @Loejyrrab It didn't seem like a serious run because that's what the media determines. Hell he wasn't even able to go to some of the debates because of it. If you're not in the debates, you're not running.

  • @Slingblade420 And the media is STILL a problem for him. Even though they have to let him debate have you noticed they'll ask him about the rain forest but not something substantial that people are interested in? He has to pretty much hope that someone flubs up and mentions his name to be able to talk about something of substance.

  • the guy is so rude! If you ask a question, listen to the answer.

  • Chris Matthews, what a prick. No one gives a shit what he thinks. I don't know how Ron Paul puts up with these morons. I'd be hauled off to jail if these morons disrespected me like this on a daily basis.

  • MEDIA,ARE PUPPETS THEY ARE CONTROLLE,BY POWER ,

  • What's the point? If you're going to interview, someone but never let them complete a fucking sentence?!! MSNBC ,CNN,FOX, Just propaganda bullshit!!

  • Ron Paul was a Fucking DOCTOR! give him some respect when your talking about healthcare you fucking shitbag.

  • @MrAtheismrules So let me ask you the key question. Let's say someone decides not buy health ins. He figures he can always show up at the emergency room and receive on the spot care. Shouldn't someone who rejects getting insured be denied access to the emergency rooms?

  • Would somebody PLEASE strangle Chris Matthews???

  • Gah, stop attacking Ron Paul!

  • FUCK CHRIS MATHEWS

  • Fawk these zionist reporters man.

  • This is just healthy arguing. Paul folk think his word is infallible, you cannot question him! PLEASE....

  • Chris is wrong about why social security was created. It wasn't for old people who were poor or were too dumb to save for retirement. It was for people who lived far longer than they had saved for. When social security was created, the average life expectancy was 58!

  • Social Security isn't broke, this is a Republican big lie.

  • Ever watch "In Time?"

Maybe the wealthy are just scared of over population, over fishing, farming, lack of water, etc. Because it is obvious our money is being destroyed. The gap between the wealthy and everyone else is grows beyond exponential. The average citizen's rights are vanishing. Perhaps there is some ridiculous plan to enslave all of us, our children, and kill those unvalued.

But I bet the answer is more simple - just a bunch of stupid people in power making mistakes.

  • Ha he can't figure Ron out. Read a book Matthews!

  • There IS a revolution going on....He's right!!!! As well, with the Illuminati in control, almost anyone can be president! Its a title that has held Zero respect for as long as you can imagine thanks to the Illuminati.

  • 7:27

  • @mcapps1 Live in fear. Stop your presumption! I work hard at my great job and pay lots of taxes to Universal health care -- go anywhere in Canada, get decent care, do not live in fear of losing everything. Cheaper relative to your system. Your silver spoon is showing, you must have things made. Americans are in denial. Ron Paul is correct on many things, but not this one. Take after Ron, you don't have to be an asshole to get your point across.

  • I have laff at the title of this video. Like standing up to Chris tingleboy Matthews makes you a hero. lol

  • matthews is a faggot

  • Dear Ron Paul, the reason your government has failed is because half the people running it have been actively trying to make it fail. That that Governor that passed billions of dollars in tax cuts for corporations, just to turn around and say he needs to strip union rights because the state has billions of dollars shot fall in the budget. here's and idea why don't you honestly try to make the government work instead throwing a monkey wrench in it as an excuse to tearing it down?

  • Your not irresponsible if your arm comes off in a factory and you paid into medicare and taxes. well that's what Australia has (medicare) for people under 65. I still like Ron but I don't agree with him their.

  • I'd give my life for Ron Paul

  • @martinsteele05 You might want to, because it's likely that he'll be assassinated. And if that happens, we're left with the other idiots.

But, if he does get assassinated, I'm not going to take that. I'd march out with my torch and pitchfork, gather up a mob and storm the whitehouse (even though I live in the UK).

  • Novemembre8211, I completely agree with you. Stupid C#$% Chris Matthews should shut the hell up when Ron Paul is trying to speak. Chris gets his own point across, Ron Paul lets him speak and does not interrupt him, then Ron Paul speaks and Chris Matthews keeps trying to interrupt and shoot him down, WTF??? Chris Matthews SHUT THE FUCK AND LET THE MAN SPEAK!!!

  • I agree that someone should SHUT THE FUCK UP until the other person is finished speaking....what is so hard about that?

  • funking TV hosts should shut up when it's other people's turn to talk

  • not sure if this would fit the definition of heroism

  • Shut UP CHRIS!! And let Dr. Paul finish what he is saying!!! Quit interrupting!!

  • @burntorange500 he can't, that's how he operates

  • wow he gets treated so poorly. I understand you might disagree with him but you should at least treat him with some respect. It seems like he thinks Ron Paul is just a joke. What a douche

  • @raptorjesus11 You're right, but still I'd rather have this than the usual ass licking. The media not doing their job and standing behind their president let Bush get away with murder.
