How about doing some research people. If you are gonna get upset about the look of it, try searcing for the game. Which is MUCH MORE dark and ominous. This isn't TIM BURTON'S vision, and I am over hearing people crediting to him. Give credit where credit is due. Timothy Spall. Yeah he is an amazing actor but I always imagined, when reading the book, that the Mad Hatter would be a bit tall and lanky, and Johnny Depp fits that more than Spall does. But yes, I'm sure if he was cast he'd do it well, he's an amazing actor too.
