How long does one vial last you normally? I just got my blood work done last week and I am waiting for my results to come back. I don't have insurance and I don't know where I should get my prescription from. I have to call my family doctor to se if he can prescribe it, but if not should I just go to an endocrinologist? Or would that be a lot more expensive? And how often do I actually need to go back to the doctor for check ups? I plan to have whoever I go to show me how to do injections mysel
Thanks man because ive been looking forward to do this and dont listen to those haters I respect you keep doing what u like and dont stop for noones opnion now ur one of my favorites but I have a question do u have to do a blood test first or no
I have been meaning to message you and thank you for this! it cut my cost in half and the pharmacy was so respectful and literally the next day after they recieved my script my T came in the mail.
Dude, this is awesome. Thanks! I live in Ohio and I cant get a therapist to give me my damn letter so Im buying my T from Slovakia at $120 for 10ml -.-; I know one therapist who WILL give me my letter but T is so expensive and I dont wanna go without I havent been able to save up enough to see him. This will help so much!
@WolfgangPwnz This is an old post, so I don't know if you still need help, but I know of at least one informed consent doctor (i.e. she doesn't need a therapist letter to prescribe to you). PM me if you need the info.
@WhoaKaela I honestly haven't researched it that thoroughly. This info was passed on to me by a guy 1+ year on T, and I'd heard other guys talking about T costing more than that elsewhere, so I jumped on this deal.
Thanks for sharing your shot schedule. I'm on weekly sub-q injections, which works fine for 5 days, but the last 2 days of the week I often feel my yucky low T symptoms. I'm going to split my weekly dosage up now too, I think it will take care of my problems.
@BigJackTX: I am currently waiting to see if I qualify for virtually free insurance to cover my therapy/psychologist visits but if you say I can get help with T in the future, I have to know more!! What are the details of the plan you use/how did you get insurance. (I really have no idea how the process works so I'm sorry I can't ask more specific questions.) Thank you so much!
this is so cool. wish I knew about it sooner. My insurance of course doesn't cover T so I went to Costco and paid 84-something bucks (it was like 120 at Walgreens.) a 10cc vial is a 5 month supply for me - I take 1cc every other week. So the vial I got cost about 17 bucks a month. This is like 10 bucks a month. My mom keeps bitching to me about how she pays like only 8 or 10 dollars a month for my other meds (ADD meds, antidepressants, etc.) haha. so she'll be happy about this.
Your voice is definitely getting deeper. I clicked to start this video, and then looked down at my pancakes, but your voice sounded so different that I had to look back up to make sure it was you speaking.
I get my T from a clinic that is subsidized and gets a deal from the manufacturer: 10ml vial of Pfizer DepoTestosterone = $12!!!! Can't beat that with a baseball bat! Syringes are extra, but per NY state law, you can purchase up to 10 at a time at a pharmacy without a prescription. If I start getting the 200mg/mL concentration and inject half, I'll save even more money on my T.
You can get T from them without a t letter?! And how did you get a prescription for t from your gyno? I thought the only way to get t was through gender therapy and an endo? D:
@TannersNemo You are right Tanner. Therapist letter is what you need to see an Endo/Dr. so you can have blood work done. It's up to the patient where they wish to get their T. Finding that online is best, cheaper.
@BeckRosatoLewis ahhh well I'm prettyyy sure my insurance will cover my t once I start in spring but if not ill definitely keep this info for a backup! I got overexcited there thinking I could get t without therapy. Therapy suckss but oh well. Thanks for the info man!!
The syringes are cheap at Walgreens. Before I had my insurance I would get a 2000ml bottle of T for $69 with the Walgreens prescription card which cost me only $20 a year. and the syringes are .20 each. The T lasts me about 4 - 5 months for $69 and the syringes I got 40 for $8.00. At that time I was doing my injections once a week. 40 = 40 weeks worth. Now I do them bi-weekly so 40 will last me 80 weeks. There are 52 weeks in a year. It is cheap even at Walgreens. :)
@cadenchaos Yes. I go to my OB/Gyn and he prescribes my T. The pharmacy doesn't care about letters. They care about licensed doctors and prescriptions. :) The only time I ever needed a letter was when I got my name changed for the court. And my doc wrote that for me :)
OORRR if you knew an awesome Vet tech that could grab you all the needles you need at any gauge you needed..... you wouldn't need to wait for shipping XD
