I have three reasons why I hate Lordi:

1) they play mask metal, not only because of their masks but also all of their lyrics just tell about 'we are the monsters, and we have masks!'

2) their music is far to 'light', it's not real metal, but it's not rock. I like both, but that kind of shit which is between those genres is... shit?

3) their singer can't sings. his singing is not harsh or growling, he just don't know how to sing.

IMO Lordi is just a band to make profits of, band for kids, band for one season. They wear their masks to try to be unique, get spotted, noticed, but thats what just makes them even more funny. Their songs got no deep meaning, like in flames, and the real, true, mask band, slipknot does.

Obviously you are mistaking, Lordi is into the whole costumes cause its probably fun or they like that approach. yes their songs are meaningless but non the less still cool. In Flames has great meaning to the songs maybe you should just listen to some of them once in a while like Come Clarity or Cloud Connected. As for slipknot, will, anyone will tell you they are meaningless, cant even sing, pointless songs, and they are for posers who want to try to get into the metal scene, do your research.
