@followmetotheriot the other red hen has 2 sisters to play with, tonight she is getting 2 more sisters. So i will have a flock of 5 hens tomorrow. I did miss the hen a lot. Thanks for the support.

@lucozaderable yeah I have them at my second house, where I was living before but now I go there on holiday. It's on countryside where my grandma lives. When I'm there I always feed them and by that, they become more friendly and trustful if you treat them right :). I think that's what makes them special :)

You are awesome, dude. This brought me back to my childhood in Puert Rico. My grandmother raised three pet hens and they were part of my family. My granny would break the face of anyone who would even joke about eating the hens. They were awesome pets, friendly and affectionate. Thanks for sharinf this video.

I should clarify EATEN BY A WILD DOG, while I was at work!! I did not eat them! Having chickens, started in Aug '08 turned me into a vegetarian.

That is a great breed to have. I started out with those, but unfortunately 3 of 4 got eaten and later when the last was almost 3 had ovarian cancer....sorry for all that. But They were great to raise super friendly would recommend them to anyone who wanted them as companion pets. Your 2 girls are great looking!

i want a pet chicken,but i cant keep one where i live.I had a very depressed friend who was thinking suicide.Someone gave her an orphaned chicken and it turned her whole life around.They are wonderful animals,and terribly mistreated by the commercial food industry
