we can only do jobs like this feeling comfortable, so any method you choose is fine..... what ever makes ya hair blow back, i say.

I use a Mahl stick when i'm letterin' but can't even begin to stripe with it. But I did Pinstripe my stick. OKAY now will you marry me? I'm a wonderful,talented wood carver, kustom painter, funny, fat dissabled guy ,livin' in a rundown trailer home in Maine.

i'm just wondering where you would put the ball of the stick for a surface, like if you put it on the surface you welding wouldn't it strike an arc? is it metal?
