which is 7/8 time so count it on the eighth notes. If you have not learned about time signatures yet. Although the eighths. Listen to the song and notice how he strums some parts on those pulsed numbers.

ok, so I'm no expert on specing out rhythm. But, the way I play it equates to basically this (if up keep the motion continuous - which I really don't):

down (miss, miss, miss) down (miss, miss), up (miss), up (miss), up-down-up
