@dwmcdaniel13 You're correct. LS1 Miata is FAR superior. Better power, MUCH easier cooling, runs better, and better gas mileage too. Too bad there was no kit for that engine at the time I built this project. My next one will be LS1...

@dwmcdaniel13 thye subframe is the issue. the stock one restricts your exhaust, and it even makes you run the exhaust under the frame. it is beyond me to make a tubular one. now there is a tubular one available and the exhaust options are much easier. now i can do an LS1 Mx5 right with that nice tubular sub.

@gnarkillkicksass @gnarkillkicksass to set the record straight, this car DOESNT have a live rear axle, it is the independent IRS originally equipped with beefed up axles and ford center section. as to weight distribution, a respectable 57/43

Wow, an SRT8 Challenger. Isn't that the company that had to take the government bailout money? All the road tests I have read say SRT and Camaro are too bulky. They still pick Mustang as number one because it is lighter. Very soon now, the Mustang will have 415 HP and be lighter than those two. But you still don't know about fast unless you have mounted up on a really hot bike. And I don't have to resort to name calling, which shows everyone reading this blog just how low YOUR mind is.

Well, JTM98, a year has gone by since I wrote that, and much has changed. I have a new 09 Miata. I no longer have the GT, and I now ride a Suzuki B-King, which is a naked Hayabusa. I know about fast. You, on the other hand, probably drive a ratty old Toyota pickup, and its appearance matches your language, which is slime. So yes, things have changed for me, but for you, you will probably be talking crap this time next year.

Thanks for reply. I know about fast. Have a Nitrous Mustang GT, and also ride a Honda VFR Interceptor, the good one, a 99. My "little cruiser" is a 750 Magna, also pretty quick. My youngest son just installed a Flyin Miata turbo on his 94. Any chance you're gonna sell the Miata with the Ford V8? (one of my favorite cars through the years, also that Focus with the Cobra supercharged V8 some company was doing).

Don't know if you were talking to me. I am the guy down there that said I have a red VFR and a red Magna, and one of my sons has a red Miata with a turbo. But I just purchased a new 09 Miata for myself, red of course. Even stock these are a blast to drive, and the girls like them too...lol.

'Rotary' refers to an engine type as opposed to piston engine - 'google' wankel rotary - use the wikipedia page - thats a good start for you
