  • @2000newyorkcity

    Bahut Bahut Shukriya ji...

  • Bahut bahut shukrya, yes that is very true Ji. Please make Malie Kofta recipe with koftas made of paneer, aloo, and mixed subzi. This gravy should have kaju also please.

  • @2000newyorkcity

Abhar :) Sure will do that. Thanks for watching :)

  • I am Punjabi and we use cream in Mater Paneer also in Malie Kofta too and Vegatable Korma. Also we use Ghee instead of regular Butter.

  • @2000newyorkcity

yup the method may vary. To my knowledge at back home in India, when they serve North Indian dishes they don't mix cream with gravy, instead they just garnish with a spoonful of cream.

  • Great job! I like that you didn't use any creme.....

  • @desibanana

hmm we r not very fond of using cream in North Indian recipe. Thanks :)

  • The ingredients list show some quantities to be in Tsp which is teaspoon

but you say Tablespoon ---what is the actual amount?

    teaspoon or TABLEspoon?

  • @pariapsara

oops its tsp and not tbsp, will try to fix it. Thanks for correction...

  • AWESUM MADHURA..THANX A LOT...IT LOOKS YUMMMYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • Hi Madhura, your matar paneer preparation feels just perfect, especially the way you have sauted the onion paste. I never new onion paste had to be fried so long to get such a rich gravy. I also liked you 'pithla' and 'zhunka' recipies.

I have one question with this video. Which is that red chili powder you use for giving nice color to the gravy. Can you tell me where can I find it?

  • hi

i live in europe i dono which paneer shud i buy i tried but da paneer was totali burned

  • @sakinagak

I mostly use frozen paneer we get here in Nanak brand. If you plan to use frozen paneer, make sure to keep it in room temperature for couple of hours before you use.

  • Hi, i tried this yesterday and it came out excellent! Thanks for sharing the recipe. I just did some changes: added hing at the beginning to make it easier to digest and fried the paneer as it was home made. Keep up the good work!

  • @willson2000

Thanks for the feedback and kind words. Its good idea to add hing and frying Paneer. Definately fried paneer tastes good. Keep watching :-)

  • Hi sublimecamphor, this recipe is for 4 to 6 people. Ultimately 1 person end up with eating hardly 1 bowl of curry. If you want you can always reduce the amount of oil. And matar paneer is occasional serving we don't have it on daily basis. So come on its ok for a while.

  • suppppar oil macchiiii. eating this once will shoot your cholestrol through roof maccheeeee

  • Thank you so much for the recipe. Looks great and I am definitely going to try it out.

    :)

  • nice but tooo much oil..
