The novelty symbols such as the heart and music symbol need to be removed if this device is to be considered a serious indicator to motorists behind you.

Also, I would suggest to make the turn arrow indicators orange, rather than green. This is the standard colour for indicators, and making them green may indicate incorrectly to motorists behind you that they should overtake you on that side, seeing as though green means go.

A nice idea but I have to say in busier cities like London

a) There's so much going on I don't think motorists will see this and actively engage with it visually to register the light as directions. This might change if everyone has a bag like this but while the bags remain few and far between I think this problem will always exist

b) a hand signals work for people behind you and IN FRONT of you

So nice idea but you still need hand signals so it makes the concept slightly obsolete
