Where was this shot? I still have one of those Hooters signs that are on the amps. Got mine at Bucks County Community College show for Halloween 1980.

wow that WAS fun! my ex and i were there. we were groupies...once saw them at cbgb's and somebody fell off the stage at some point. i think it was john kuzma...anyway, thanks so much for the old times. you know that some...'gonna buy myself a monkey like you made out of me..." would love to see that too. when will they be stateside again?
Yes. He´s cool. I´m going to see The Hooters this summer, the´re playing here in Sweden. Did you know that Eric Bazilian played in one of the songs in the swedish outtakes for Eurovision song contest some years ago? That´s pretty awsome!
No I didn't. Somehow I missed these guys, but once I watched this video I got this song stuck in my head. A freind of mine calls this "ear worms". You can't get it out of your head until you pass it along to someone else. Anyway, I think he is a great guitar player and if they ever come to Tampa, FL, I will be there.
Great Stuff!! I've been a Hooters fan since i first heard "Wireless" back in '79 (i think). Any way you can upload some of this as an mp3? Let me know if you can. I would love to have this on my ipod. Thanks
Thanks for posting this. That's Bobby Woods(?) on bass. To me, great snapshot of the Hooters in their prime. This looks like it is from the broadcast on cable of the 10/13/82(?) show from the Brandywine Club, pieces of which have been circulated on DIME. Trent, any chance you can up the whole thing to DIME? Incidently, Hooters fans should check out the Melodica yahoo group. I've gotten some great old Hooters shows of audio from other generous fans.
Yes, that is Bobby Woods on bass, he and John Kuzma played together in the legendary Asbury Park band The Shakes (one time house band at the Stone Pony...check the liner notes on the 1st Jukes album, for the mention) Check out Vmix (search for: Hooters), David Uosikkinen is the owner of Vmix, so I posted a few more from the show there, plus a couple of other things I dug up.

There is a guy in my school who looks very much like Eric Bazilian. That´s kind of scary. :S

It´s really true you can´t get it out of your head. But I like the song, so it doesn´t bother me.
Eric is not only a great guitar player, he´s hot too. ;) Love him!

Wasn't this recorded live at EMERALD CITY in Cherry Hill, NJ?

John Kuzma rocked this band and added a unique twist which was lost after he left.

Totally true, this band played at my high school in Cherry Hill, New Jersey...
Same year saw Adam Ant, Scandal, Def Leppard, then Bon Jovi, Eddie Money,...Yikes, that was back in the day...
