I was blown away of the beauty of the Galilee region, Safed, and the Golan were mind blowing, when I was in Israel. Jerusalem was filled with G-d's presence whether you be Muslim, Jew, or Christian. Masada at sunrise was beautiful beyond to describe, it's like a new year, a new beginning when you are on top.
I think something important to note is that many of the Arabs who are now considered Palestinian came to the Area at the same time as the early Jewish settlers, namely BECAUSE the Jewish settlers were renovating the land and offered employment oppurtunities.

If your staying in Jerusalem there are alot of great hotels. Uhm the really nice one that I remember were like King David Hotel, Sheraton Plaza, King Solomon. There really aren't to many things to look out for, but I guess in the arab market watch for people who will try to sell you things that you don't really need.

axcept in israel - we use extremely hi-tech agriculture (israel is a world leader in agriculture technology) that not only stops the desert growing bigger - its actually getting smaller from year to year!!!

the water levels are dropping in the galilee, the Dead sea is drying up. Israel's water use is not sustainable. Ideas, stop watering massive desert sections. You either have a soft decline in water use, or a hard one. The latter would not be pleasant.

Yes, in certain parts of the world, mostly in Muslim-ruled countries, the desert is growing. Indeed, whenever the UN has conferences on this, Israel is ALWAYS excluded.
However two notable exceptions to this are Australia and China; they LOVE Israeli technology this way!!!

I really think people can learn a lot from Israel. A tiny country with so many patents and leading edge technologies should have been a model country for its neighbors. But instead its jealous neighbors want to destroy this beautiful country. Radical Islamic culture of the Arabs just want death and destruction.

Yes, no it wasn't a tour, I just went on my own and planned my own stops. I'm actually going back next year, and hopefully in 6yrs I'll be living there permanently. Israel is very tourist friendly.

If your staying in Jerusalem there are alot of great hotels. Uhm the really nice one that I remember were like King David Hotel, Sheraton Plaza, King Solomon. There really aren't to many things to look out for, but I guess in the arab market watch for people who will try to sell you things that you don't really need.

Is it disrepsectful? The reason I always make a point to use God's name is because there are so many muslims claim that allah is God and so I want to be careful to specify WHO I am talking about. Also many false prophets misusing the name of God. But, if its disrespectful I won't do it. Is it also disrespectful to use the name Yahweh or Yahueh?

Yeah, American media is under the sway of $saudi$. There are a few sources that are still somewhat unbiased or at least will give more than one perspective, but anti-semitism is making a comeback thanks to the infiltration by the religion of peace.
The good news is that there are lots of people holding up the banner of truth and more and more people are waking up to the truth.

Mark Twain (I stayed in the hotel he did,in Jerusalem) visited during the years when Ottoman rule had neglected the region to a backwater of poverty and that explains many things. Mind you, he sounds like a miserable travel companion. Did he find ANYTHING positive to speak of? Israel can't change the sky he describes as blistering. Israel has made the land bloom though,no doubt about it.

Twain has right .. there are also paintings from several germans painters (Gustav Bauernfeind and more) in the late 1860 to 1900 who painted there, as well as german geologists which explored that area .. they all wrote home what the´ve seen and what they found .. the result are save stored in german archives. there was nearly nothing else then riuns and abondomed towns till the european jews under Theodore Herzl started to restore everything. the arabs came later .. as baggers!

No barren dessert land in the middle east produced so much fruits, trees, plants, etcs. While Israel does have a right to exist, is it not unfair or ignorant of Mr Twain to of not ackknowledged that there were people living in that area of the Middle-East even it if they were few and far between, which may I add was probably as a result of constant war and power struggles and regime change overs. The views of Mark Twaine seem very similar to that of colonial ideoligies; "the locals arent very civilized, might as well get rid of them".

Have you *read* "Innocents Abroad"? While Twain's cynicism and hyperbole are well-known, so is his moral honesty. He didn't advocate "getting rid" of people.
I have just visited Israel and the West Bank. Where the Jews hold sway, great improvements have been made in the country. Where the Arabs are in charge, it's still basically a pile of rocks. It seems as if those who would lead "Palestine" still want to cut off their noses to spite their faces. Cooperation would help everyone so much!

I havent read Mark Twains book but will try to. I have read a bit about him and am aware he was an intelligent man. However in your video hes quoted as saying it was "ugly, rural and uncivilized" and then after theres a shot saying "We love Mark Twain". Im sorry if Im wrong but that does paint a sligthly unfair picture. Cooperation does need to made but not just with the leaders. Normal people need to be encoureged on both sides to intergrate.
