Most likely, the "law of attraction" only seems to work as a supernatural force because, when people think about something a lot and expect to achieve something, they're going to take actions toward achieving that goal which will make them more likely to achieve it anyway. A mixture between this, rare coincidences, and the tendency for people to forget the times the method failed, is probably responsible. Perform a test under scientific conditions, and I'll consider it.

You do it all the time.....this didn't happen to me so it must be god's will.....or I made a mistake so it must be the devil's influence. I know a Christian who is very stressed out and anxious about his problems. I tried offering him the suggestion to take time to quiet his mind and relax. That scarred him because he thinks the devil will come in. Another thinks that his emotions have no value because they are a tool the devil uses. Its a religion of fear, helplessness, & guilt

I was introduced to the Law of Attraction through a book written in the 70's called the Cosmic Energizer by Joseph Murphy (probably purchase for a dollar now LOL)

But it works, I dont know how, I dont have to know, and I dont care if someone doesnt believe in it, I understand that for some, it doesnt feel right, and thats fine.....

Oprah prayed and prayed for the part. (She learned how to pray and who to pray to in the Christain church she was raised in as a child), sang a Christain song "I Surrender All" (look up the lyrics, the song is about accepting Jesus as Saviour), was blessed by God to get the part in the movie "Color Purple", then she gave herself and a book written many years later (The Secret), the credit. Well that isn't true. Quantum Mechanics says that you can change the state of matter by observation. Ever heard of Heisenberg uncertainty principle? You could stop there, but thought is energy and has physical properties that can effect matter. There was a time the world thought the world was flat. I am driving at a intersection and I want the lights to turn green. Now there is also another person who understands "the secret" and is on the other side of the intersection. And he also wants the light to turn green.  So what happens?

Its more of how you look at the traffic. If you are in a hurry and are gumpy, then all the traffic can move in a way that slows you down and you keep getting stuck with red lights. On the other hand if you are calm, patient, and not complaining about traffic the traffic will flow in a means that makes everything work out to your advantage. Its like the parting of the Red Sea kind of analogy. The question is are you allowing or disallowing by your thoughts and how you feel.
