Sometimes 'right wing' is too simple a label. From my viewing of him he's kind of closer to the USA Libertarian Party, in that his economics are essentially free market capitalist (right wing), but on social issues he's pretty 'left', in that he want's to stop things like victimless crimes being prosecuted (ie personal drug use), and is a strong defender of civil liberties and personal freedom. It's on these social issues that he can be compared to RATM, but they'd disagree on economics a lot
