Your comment was hard to folow, but I get the basic message. I agree, empathy is a strong thing and it's suprising more Israelis dont have it. However I don't think that any Israelis in the south attacked gaza, the IDF did. The people in Sderot and Ashkelon and Beersheva just had to deal with rocketfire but some of them had lived in Gaza themselves prior to the removal of Jews from Gaza.
Only 5 years ago, in order to help the Palestinians make a true state, Israel decided to relocate all Israelis who were working or living in Gaza. This would make Gaza a purely Arab area. ALL Israelis left, not just the military.
Gaza used to be very open and Israelis could go and shop and Gazans could go to Israel to work. That was as recent as the 90's. It's a shame how it's become.

However I don't think that any Israelis in the south attacked gaza, the IDF did. The people in Sderot and Ashkelon and Beersheva just had to deal with rocketfire but some of them had lived in Gaza themselves prior to the removal of Jews from Gaza.
