Heath is on the Bass, Taiji left the band in 1992, this concert is from 1995...

Taiji left the band because he had several musical differences with Yoshiki, they even fought hard... Taiji didn't like the way X Japan was becoming, a more romantic/ballad band. He wanted the band to be like in the indie era...

It's been said that Yoshiki started to write Art Of Life on November, 24, 1989... after Yoshiki recovered from some of his health problems (one of his multiple collapses) during the Rose & Blood Tour... You can comfirm it by listening to the CD called "Rose & Blood ~Indies Of X~" edited by Taiji... where an early version of Art Of Life appears... here it is called "End Of The World". This version has no vocals and it has a midi-like sound... It is practically computer-based sound.

I'm not sure but I first heard it from the Dahlia Tour Hokkaido Bootleg CD, which is the same tour this video is taken from.

Scars on Melody is different. That was the first time they performed the song, even before the single was released. There is a video of that somewhere on youtube. So I guess this version was probably done just for the Dahlia Tour.

The first live i've heard from them was Last Live and theni noticed that Dahlia tour had most of the same versions of songs they play now adays
