Tdi's are good daily commuters not for tuning and shit. Stupid kit appreciate this car for what it is , a car that's good on gas keep it stock cause it's meant to be kept like that. U IDIOTS. You want a fast car get a M3 or something.
I agree that fuel efficient commuters are good to keep stock, but not everyone can afford a fast car so they modify what they have. Fortunately, TDIs maintain well above average mileage even when tuned. These new engines are finely tuned but they also have computers smart enough to adapt to modifications in order to produce power and remain clean.
Im sorry but in the first aceleration you didnt push as hard as the second time. Look at the Rpm. In the first you barely get close to 3000, as the second time your 1st gear touch de 4000 rpm... I dont think that from 0-60 you get a 5 seconde decrease...
Kalekuzic: I have a digi 10 pin power module and I'm get more hp than 135 and it has an ei safety rating that ensures no damage to the stock parts mine been running great for the past 10k miles
If it really took you 9 seconds to get to 37mph(60km/h) then that thing is super slow. Seems like you sandbagged the first run. Heck even four seconds to get to 37 mph is pretty slow.
Another person pointed this out to me and it's simply because the TDI doesn't put out any hp past 3k rpm so anything more then that and I would just be making an even slower run. With the Evry Mod I get HP all the up to 5k. I want to get the rev limited taken out and bigger cams because this just keeps pulling harder and harder.
I dont think is good to have a engine shake like that.. haha

Thats good old german Quality car!! I like this, but some chip mods are more "health" to the whole engine, and the parts. but still, this is great.

I put a chip in my tdi golf, and i went from whatever 90hp to 135! and butt loads of torque.
but i had to instal bigger injectors n shit too.
a few weeks later blew my engine racing a 350Z....threw my turbo and hydrolocked and MANGLED 3 rods.
6 grand on used engine and a REFURBISHED turbo....next day, the turbo brew up n bent two rods.
Had it rebuilt, bought a NEW turbo.
......i think that if your going to create more boost/power. MAKE SURE YOUR STOCK TURBO IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER!!!!!

@bennywabbit
weve had a few of these and they all revved with power to about 4000rpm, the newer one has power upto 4000rpm but will rev cleanly to 5000rpm.
Why does engine shake and what is evry mod?

Lots of good information can be found on TDIClub.com
Google TBAEC.ca Evry Mod and my thread will come up with a full write up on how I did the installation.
