I have a very mild case of pink eye :D the minute I felt a grittiness I went and got over the counter eye drops and bam hasn't got anymore pink and has reduced in swelling :)

I only had pink eye once cause I kept rubbing my eye that is how I got pink eye after I just woke up first i got some ice in a bag and put it over my eye that helps the swelling kinda go down also after that quickly go to the doctor then they gave me eyedrops Wich Really hurt after 3 days it got better hope this helps

Now I got it again of the other eye.

both. It can either be the whole eye or just part of the eye. If it's only part of the eye, it may spread to the rest of the eye if left untreated.
