Because they are so lightweight and fl00fy...they posess the properties of a lifejacket.

Why did you not catch the dog? If my dogs got loose, I would want someone to catch them so they don't travel further away. ~_~

My Pom did this once, we were on a boat fishing, and when I threw my line in he jumped off the boat after it.
