  • @Ohitztazz <<<< This wee fanny picked on a dead dog then closed his account instead of waiting on a come back . What a low life.LMAO i guess i really got to him.

Ahh Tweedboy even in death you still have a fight in ya.Good dog awesome hunting buddy :-)

  • I understand that everyone is entitled to an opinion, it reminds me of that old saying, "opinions are like assholes... everybody's got one and they all stink." Yes, my own included. However, my parents raised me as "if you have nothing positive or nice to say, don't"!

  • @Ohitztazz LMAO you are a twat cross my fence you will be sreaming to get our <<<< eejit .

  • Great video. I am a KBD owner and would like to test my gigs abilities with bears. He already handles moose well which was scary at first but he just owns them. Too quick.

  • Karelian bear dog is best for hunting bear, elk and wild boar.

  • C'mon, a poodle will bark at a chained bear and rush at it in an annoying way. What are you prooving, that your dogs will bark at a chained animal. Put bear in 10x10 cage. Force dogs into cage. Get on high ladder or tree to film. Have 2 plastic bags ready. Use plastic bags to carry away dead dogs. Call breeder and ask for 2 real dogs this time. Repeat until you find real fast smart dogs. Post video for all to see

  • @shantor100 Yeah you really know fuck all about dogs do ya. The chain is for training to stop the bear running away.My KBD has cornered or treed 26 bears where i then shoot em butcher em & me & my dog enjoy bear saugage for breakfast all winter. KBD's don't quite lady & comparing them to a poodle is the dumdest thing i have ever read. So C'mon quite hating KBD's & grab a clue would ya

  • What is the job of the guy with the long stick? agitator. When you post a video for all the world to see, dont cry when someone dislikes it. Yes we use this breed in America but it is not how we train them. If this is what they are bred for than they will do it naturally right, without competition. In America these dogs chase bears with teeth and claws and no chains. Make your "competition" more exciting and do it in a real life situation and see how good your dog really is.

  • @shantor100 I don't have problem with the bear on a chain gets the dogs used to going after bears. But yes in north America we do on the job training. For competition though a unchained bear would just take off. For those folk who have there dowt's about KBD's my dog will hunt bear deer, squirrels anything that moves & if a stranger comes into the yard uninvited will be hell bent on taking him down no matter how hard he fights she will fight harder believe me it's scary.

  • I own a KBD and I got him specifically as a hiking companion and protection dog in bear country, so I have no problem with these dogs being in contact with a bear. But the bear is suffering. I think this is an awful way to treat a wild animal that has no way of understanding human intentions. Can't you train them in a different way, without using a chained up bear?

Er dere svenske? Det der er vel ikke lovlig i Sverige?

  • Its maybe not the nicest thing to have the bear on chain. But that is only during the event. Unfortunately there is now other way to keep a bear in confined space, where you can esteem and video the work of the dogs. Otherwise you can see that the bear is in excellent condition, much better than ones in the ZOO.

  • i like these dogs i want one but it not nice to have a bear on a chian. and then let the dogs do what ever to the bear.

  • As A KBD owner, even though mine is not trained to hunt bear or other game (at least at the moment) I agree with KARELEC and mawben4 - they are an ancient and rare breed - they are simply amazing breed.

  • @lara3ec Well said As a Kdb owner my self NEVER EVER BREED ANYTHING OUT OF THE KARELIAN BEAR DOG THAT ARE A BREED APART.

  • I can't educate all people that live in fantasy world. As you say Mawben4, this is what this breed is doing with centuries. As the description of the video says, this is a contest, working exibition. Please everybody, if you think that all the dogs in the World should sleep in front of fireplace and beg for a bone, don't wach and dislike the video. Any little bit more clever guy knows that in no case a dog can harm a bear! It's just a test once in a year and a way to keep the breed as it supose

  • @KARELIEC

You are very Right, we used or Karilean this morning to deal with an aggressive grizzly. these animals are useful and are amazing at what they do. they Protect wildlife by giivng us a none lethal way of dealing with problem bears. I'm not against using lethal measures at all, this is just another option.

  • I can tell that none of the posters truly understood this video. Those are KBD dogs, they are bred to hunt big game and used in America to keep bears away from people. This is what they are bred to do, this is how you test them to see how good they are against bears. They will harrass dangerous game relentlessly and these dogs are obviously being tested and their skills harnessed/practiced on that ability.

  • @mawben4 Well said my wee Sasha KBD thinks so too :-)

  • Terrible! Of course the bear was probably tranquilized then chained up. This is not the point for having these dogs. One day ur stupid ass will get attacked by a bear or it will kill ur dogs. SMFH @ this stupid video

  • @dvsn23 Your an eejit

  • thos dogs cant win that match but the humans who did that , r the champion of stupidity ^^ retardet ppl ^^

  • This is fucking retarded, why is the bear all chained up? This aint hunting, its just plain cruel

  • @pollebamse

Wow you really are dumbasses. They are testing the dogs, and it's impossible to do with unchained bears. The bear is just fine, it can manage two medium sized dogs if they get too aggressive.
