  • great playing man, I have that guitar and Im thrilled, I can say that is a lot better then my Gibsons Flying V 80s and de Luxe Les Paul 74 (now they are backup guitars or decoration ;-)

  • Hi.... As I wrote to you earlier I LOVE this sound and have almost managed to copy it but can't quite get that slight echo.... can I ask what make and model echo unit you use please?

  • @Nickofaballooni behringer vintage delay VD400, it's very cheap but it's a proper analogue unit so is very different sounding to a normal digital delay

  • Many Thanks, yes I just about got the delay hehehehe.

  • You know some of our 'guitar hero's' would be wise to visit youtube occassionally they'd learn a lot... ther are 'Super Hero's' here and this is one.

  • Another question.....I am searching for that sound.... does it just come from the guitar, cry baby and amp overdrive...or is there more????? I guess the Boss noise reductiuon does not effect the sound??? Great playing.

  • @Nickofaballooni thanks for the comments!

Basically, cry baby, amp overdrive and delay will do the trick. Delay makes quite a lot of difference, even if it can sometimes seem subtle like here.

  • Excellent playing and love your sound... What model Ibanez is that plaese?

  • @Nickofaballooni its a 2007 s670fm

  • please tell me youre in a band thats fixin to melt the face off of every human on this earth and or create a guitar solo A-BOMB that turns us back to dust!!!!

  • haha that must be one of the best comments i've had!

I'm not in a band at the moment but really want to be! Hopefully get one going soonish cos I've just started at uni

  • Sweet! I need to practice playing with backing tracks. This sounds great!

  • really enjoyed this. I will try and steal some of those licks. Impressive control of the wah too. Is the backing track you are using available on the net?

  • Thanks! I did get the BT online somewhere but I can't remember where at all - when I recorded this I'd just found it lurking on my hard drive! I'll have a look for you

  • Thanks

  • Real nice man, reminded me of Steve Vai and a little bit of David Gilmore.

    5 Stars Bro

  • Dude!!! I was just about to write the exact same thing and I read your comment. Totally agree...

  • That is a cool guitar man! Good playin' too!
