Yeah, right easy as hell!! Not at all I've been changing DHCP, IP address assignments, Virtual server, Portranges, porst, protocols etc. Everything according to the ellaborate manual but the remote access still does not work. Why don't they fix this shit and make it really easy, this is what keeps many people from investing in this, and maybe I should have save money too. Crap!
I just received this drive today. It is the slowest drive in the world. I bought the 6TB drive. It will take me a year to backup my existing 1TB drive. This goes back to costco tomorrow
You can backup between Iomega StorCenter Cloud Edition devices remotely - just set one up locally (in your network), then set one up in the remote location. You can access the files and folders with any backup software that supports your OS. To learn more, you can go to iomega.com/support/solutions/office.html.
I am running a small network (5 clients) on a server running Windows server 2003. I'd like to be able to set up a NAS in a remote location in order to schedule nightly, incremental backups on the server drives. I'd also like to run a full backup once a week. Can anyone recommend a good NAS driveand software that would help me accomplish this?... Tnks
@Zedorek Hi! Sorry to hear your remote access is not working. Are you getting an error of some sort? Send a private message... if you can give us a little more information, we can try to help you troubleshoot.
