I absolutely LOVE this video! But I'm also sad. I love it b/c it shows the beauty, pride, &diverse range of gender embodiment among butches. But then I didn't see any brown or black bodies (I'm talking about bodies not racial identiies). Yr video tells me that bl/br butches don't exist or they don't matter? White bodies are already ubiquitous & normative, do we really need to perpetuate that in queer comm. It smacks of racial exclusion & I see why so many blacks feel shut out from queer space.

@trystancotten Thanks for pointing this out, Trystan! For the record the pictures in this video were of individuals that approved my use of their image. Two people of color that I asked to be part of the montage turned down the offer. I personally find brown and black bodies to be supremely beautiful! But if I ever get around to making another montage I'll be sure to do my best to include images of a more diverse group of people.

today,it is mega difficult to love someone simply for who they are.You have to be something according to someone else's standards so you can be respected,and that's pretty pathetic.people should love more and not create an idea of others based on their gender or sexuality.hate..it just eats you alive.i actually feel sorry for people who are so full of it..can you imagine what it's like to hate something you don't even understand so much that you become and look weak.love=spiritual strength.peace
