I don't know what happened to kids being active. I sub for the gym classes and the girls are walking around the track texting on their phones, not even going anywhere near 2 mph. Some are sitting around talking and others ditch. I am not even going to get into what I see them eating for breakfast. A lot of times its something bad or nothing. I encourage healthy eating during the first period of the day, but some of the kids just look at you like its not your job to care. SMH.
The greatest threat to the advancement of the black community are attitudes like mrs obama's dependence on gov't, elites know best she's an elitist now & an entitlement mentality.Michelle is ignorant bc she thinks that if we give more money to her & to government programs that kids are going to want to eat healthy. She is the first lady, not a policymaker. If Michelle Obama would look at her own parenting she would tell President Obama there is no need for gov't programs just good parenting.
If my only hope of paid employment because of poor education and poverty was killing other people, I would eat too much ice cream too. Obamas - give up some luxuries, you and all your DC cronies and put more into the southern U.S. communities so they can build their economy and their communities instead of fighting a war to line your pockets with cash - stop the rape of resources in US and other countries to support your evil war.
