You can't make any judgements on the sound based on a recording from on iPhone. Yes acoustic treatments would be great, but I also live in a small apartment with a girlfriend, and I don't think that would go down very well. Aesthetics you know...
The components are simply the state of the art, but the listening have some problems. The sound is to much dry. That problem coming by no acoustic trattament of room. In others words, the first sound message is not clear, becouse the secondary reflectings comings before that the firsts are finish. Just the wall back! my god. Put there some absorbent of middle and high frequency. The sound will became istanctly much more soft and not tyredly, and each word and sound will be much more clearity..

Yeah it was recorded on an iPhone, so its not exactly going toy be the best quality....But the system is ever evolving. :)
