I was surprised by the first and second perk choice, if you look at the stats. Hardline is a good perk, but if you're using extended mags you'll only have one reload. Scavenger is the blue one for me. Low accuracy, but that doesn't matter as the RPK gave me more of a assualt rifle feeling.

So it's more useful at long range. Sleight of hand reduces the poor reload time of 4 seconds. I'm not saying that this is a bad setup, but scavenger and SOH might be better.

@FrediDiamond black ops does not have as much campers or bs in the way that crowds the maps. it counts more on skill than than just guns, and weapons have thier own benifits instead of same damage, same attachments. These benifits cause different styles for players to play unlike mw2

I just recently tried it with lower kill streaks and to be blunt, it really can play a good counter sniper role as most of my kills came from long range. It's only a matter of taming the bursts and not using it like it's an assault rifle/SMG. Most of Xboxahoy's hardline weapons are usually the guns more suited to long-range fire support such as M14, G11 and this. You're not going to run around the map with it, you're sticking behind the lines with your team.

@YoShawteh Well, this gun isn't particularly bad, but I don't really see a reason to use this over the HK21 except for the 80 round drum and slightly clearer iron sights. 60 rounds is more than sufficient in my opinion, and you can actually make your shots count with the HK. That's definitely not the case with the RPK......

@purploman66 Everyone says the Uzi is the worst, but the RPK has even worse and less predictable recoil than the Uzi and the RPK also slows you down a ton and is slow to aim down the sights. At least with the Uzi you can quickly run and get in someones face so the recoil wont matter as much, but with the RPK you're most likely going to be shooting most of your targets from a distance, which happens to be the RPK's weak point due to it's completely ridiculous amount of recoil.

The Rpk's ironsight is hard to use due the recoil but is for me better
