I think norifumi is actually better than malmsteen. I know that shima does metal and malmsteen is mostly acoustic, but malmsteen plays almost TOO fast at times and it just doesn't sound as clean. Who on this site, who plays guitar, never want to do an entire song of him Idol ? In our guitar licks we've found, there is ALWAYS a little bit of inspiration came from our Idol. @matrags Yngwie can shred, but that's all he CAN do. This guy actually has some badass riffs. Yngwie is just a scale god, not much of a muscician if you ask me.

No he didn´t ...maybe he was one of the best and most known neoclassical guitars in 80´s, but there was many more like Vinnie moore, Marty Friedman and one of the bests Jason Becker ...and Yngwie wasn´t as good when he just started, so his has been improving his technique .. that mean he learned something about the other guitar players and he took something from each of em ... and enyway i like Norifumi Style, is a little less repetitive than yngwie´s
