I used to live and montreal, now i live in Vancouver. I have seen a lot of Brash fights, I even met him twice. (He is a prick) watch A lot of his fights and you will see that he hugs more than any other heavyweight. I am not a Tie Domi fan but that guy heaved bombs and took bombs.

lol.. neely had 3 things that worked against him 1. team player to the hilt...he would take bad penalties (majors)sticking up for his team. 2. hot head,,,very easy to get him off the ice for 5 min.and it would happen often,,kordic, mcrea, kocur, not an even trade. 3. very injury prone,,,though i dont remember him getting hurt in fights to often.

Neely was pissed off. His fights were never scripted, he just played hard and fought when he was PO'd. I remember watching this game. The Bruins were getting dominated. So Cam picked a fight with the toughest guy he could find. He lost so what? 99% of people lose to Brashear. As a Neely fan I am as proud of this loss as much as i am of his numerous wins.

That fight was all Brashear. He's top 10 all-time at fighting. Neely was top 10 players who could fight, but not even close to being a top 10 fighter all-time.
Neely is in the Gordie Howe, Larry Robinson, Maurice Richard mold where he was an elite player who could drop the gloves with the best and usually hold his own. Here Neely lost. I think he was a lefty and never got free, but he still got whipped in this tilt. Did they ever fight another time because they were both in the same division?
