You really should have mentioned that the Kanex HD outputs to a maximum of 720p. Though, this is the fault of the iMac since for some reason it cannot accept a 1080p signal via the mini display port. While the iMac is a great computer, I really hate how limited Apple has made the display to be since I'm sure any consumer would desire using this beautiful display with other devices they have.

@Michaelswk93 Go up to the top corner of your screen and click on the "" then click "About This Mac" then click on "More Info..." then under "Hardware" click on "Graphics/Displays" then it should say your resolution somewhere, if it says 2560x1440 it means it is a 27" screen, because the 27" imac is the only imac with a screen with that resolution.

@Michaelswk93 Okay. You have a 21.5", correct? Many normal computer has either a 17" and 19" screen. Millions of people use them for gaming. It really makes little difference. 4GB RAM is good, 3.06 GHz (Duo) is also good. I bet you could run most games pretty smoothly. But you don't know until you try.
