@loosegrip99 - Thanks Peter. It sounded fantastic just going up the short 1 in 66 towards Upperby on the way out of the station so it must have be fantastic climbing towards Shap Summit.
The Brit looked great today and you had sun too for filming - always a bonus! I filmed Ollie just after her morning departure from Preston. Did the Brit make up the late departure - must have been about 15 minutes behind?
@gjhooke - thanks for you comment. It was only 4 minutes late arriving into Carlisle despite reports it was very much later. It certainly looked good in the Carlisle sunshine.
Lovely smooth departure and tut tut to the man at the end of the platform with his feet on the white line. In Newcastle you'd be killed for doing that!
@m0dernrailways - Yes I know what you mean. Some station are dead strict others trust enthusiasts without interference. I think most rail fans know the rules really but you do get the odd naughty one.
Great typical Britannia departure from Oliver Cromwell. Barry

Great sequence Allan. I was behind the driver so out of sight. We had a stirring climb up to Shap.
