I love this crackling sound. I would also like the full recipe---time and temperature of the oven. Do you have a bread oven or what do you do to get that crispness? Thanks for your time.
That looks a lot like the Italian Peasant bread I make (Pane Rustica). Could you send me the recipe so I may compare or let me know what book it came from.
It's a standard Italian country bread recipe, so you probably already have it. Here are the ingredients: 1 1/2 ts active dry yeast 1/2 c warm water 7 c bread flour 1 tb salt 2 3/4 c cool water 1/4 c biga
@outworldarts This bread looks great, you stated 1/4 cup biga?, what is this ingredient? I want to make it tomorrow, how long does it cook? Temperature? and do you have water at the bottom to make it crusty? And thank you for sharing this.
If you check your messages, you will find the recipe in there. If you have any questions, I can try and help, but please note that I am a bad teacher....
totally cool!!!! i just started getting into this bread and looking forward to the journey of learning how to make it!!!

I don't want to post it here as it is out of a cookbook and I don't want to violate copyright laws and get tossed off of youtube.
I sent you the starter and will send the recipe tonight.
Sorry for the delay, but I make soap for a living and have been busy with restocking. :)
