@Kaynas1988 The way this series ends is not as effective as it could, have been it should have ended with a terrorist attack on Sun Hill and we are left with the puzzle who survives and who dies.
@rojblake82 Yeah but the producers didn't want the last episode to go bang though, I mean they have had enough explosions at Sun Hill-1988, 2002, 2005 and 2008 being for of them
I think Simon Rouse had to re-take the press conference scene over and over again because it really choked him up knowing it was one of the last scenes ever. Watch the documentary on it and you'll see.
Jack meadows was the longest charactor and began as a regular in early 1992, looking young and tough. Dale smith (Smithy) first appeared as a P.C back in July 1999, & D.C. Mickey Webb first appeared in April 2000. Looking foward to see if any DVD's of the bill series to purchase in future
I've been watching 'THE BILL' since i was 7 years old, and it's a real shame the bill has ended, I will never ever forget the bill, and this is the best closing anyone could ask for! Excellent, and I'll always miss the bill, I'll NEVER FORGET THE BILL
ITV u seriously SUCK!!!!!!! bring bak The Bill and sack your awful management!!!!! Fincham has ruined a oncegr8 channel!!!! COME ON CHANNEL 5!!!!!! Falling ratings my arse they shifted it around all the time so no one knew it was on---TOSSERS!!!!!
I cried when I saw this on tv, itv are stupid wankers and should not of axed the bill! They spend all the money on crap like x factor! The bill will be dearly missed :-(
@zenboka. It is better than 10 years ago. I watched a few that was done 10 years ago and it was shit. The new ones are better. That is why more people prefered the new ones than the old ones.
There's a reason it was canned. About 10 years ago it got new bosses, and every year since then has been worse and more embarrassing to watch. The old Bill was fantastic and it's a shame that there's no Bill any more, but then it's really been dead for a long time anyway.
The Bill, People who slagged it off probably had not watched it since the days it was a half hour sub soap. Over the last 5 years of it's life, in it's hour long format, it became the best continuing drama on British TV. RIP The Bill, you will be missed...
ITV a thousand curses on you for axing it., now go and spend the advertisers money on more I'm a Celebrity crap.
'Let's do it'' The first ever words spoken by Jim Carver in Woodentop and the very last words Dale Smith said to Callum Stone

I expected a huge explosion of the last ever episode. or at least the return of Don Beach to put an end of things.

Fuck ITV for getting rid of this programme, worst decision ever.

@macphersonleedsunite THE OLD ONE'S WERE THOUSANDS TIME MORE ENTERTAINING THAN THE NEW
