@SurprisedPuppies lol the trees are already murdered, so I'm just putting them to good use^^ better than kids doing crafts with colour paper cos they usually just cut out shapes and throw away the excess paper. with this you use every bit of the paper cutting it into rectangles^^

@1ice2cream3truck4 I use printer/copy paper. I've used construction paper too and it still worked for me. cardstock is also good. if ur gonna use cardstock, cut the rectangle in half long ways, skip the 1st step (folding up in half) and fold from the 2nd step (folding up sides diagonally). watch my beginner vid part 2 to see how to fold cardstock pieces

@zabaldica12345 i think it was 18, cant remember, I dont have it anymore, it was a long time ago. but I have a tutorial on a pikachu (a bit different to this one), just look up 3d origami pikachu, its an 18 base as well. for this one I used all triangles made of cardstock so it was much thicker/bigger

@14hsoj i guess its just experience? since this was my collection back then, and the ones i make now are way better, since these ones are all crooked and uneven and stuff. i guess after folding pieces, my hands got used to it and found ways to make the piece better and neater. a lot of people that make messy models just dont fold the piece properly, which makes the model look ugly

i saw a swan at mums friends house then looked it up and made a white swan. got coloured paper and made up new models. later on got the books for more ideas. now im making models by eye like looking at pics of animals and making cuter versions. eg look at a pic of a zebra, make a cartoon version of it from 3d origami. i started wen i was 15

lol the cookie monster thing, "keroppi"<- a frog/ hellokitty character, yes i've made a tutorial on that. not the swan. its just a basic swan with bits added on the wing and curved down. this collection is way old and not so good lol, i've improved from then. i've only made tutorials for models i think look good. look thru my channel to see all the tutorials. and yeah i will continue, just not at the moment since i dont have time, but i will later on

yeah, evrything in that vid is made of the same sized pieces. sum just look bigger cz theyr made from thicker paper. i always use the size from my beginner vid, or half that size if u c any models with smaller pieces in my vid

i made it out of cardstock which is why its huge cz the pieces were really thick. i was copying by eye, a cover of a 3d origami book, the striped cat. i didnt hav black bak then so the green made it look like an owl. its basically mistake of the striped cat which i hav a tutorial of

i didnt use a kit, i jst cut up paper and made em up myself or got ideas from pics iv seen, tho i did get a kit 4 a small dog from a japanese shop 2 see wot was inside/wot size paper they use, but i lurnt from watching how 2 make the classic swan on utube (that uses 30 pcs 4 the base and uses lots of pcs). i suggest if u wanna make these, watch the swan vid (search 4 3d origami swan)2 get the idea, watch my "3d origami:making the base" and thn u can make models frm my tutorials

bout a day, not like a whole day, but i fold the pieces at skool, come home with a small ziplock bag full of triangles, and then make it with those at home. mayb 30mins-1hour? or sumtimes i make half and continue the nxt day
