DoW2 has some of the best co-operative capabilities of any RTS game, its more of an action RTS than a traditional. Since I adore co-op games I tend to like DoW2 more than DoW1 where the co-op was limited. Both are amazing games though.

Also Chaos rising and the DoW2 core game are quite a bit better than retribution for co-op play. I mean the campaigns might have been straight forward but its not a 6 to 10 hour campaign with limited gear options.

Angry Joe, the first Dawn of War series was base building, and had like 3 expansions, and was, in my opinion, one of the best RTS's out there. i hope you've played that one, because it was just great.

@miclovin222 aye, great rts... only thing that made me stop playing was the epicly stupid pathing... i mean a single squad didnt have any problems, but if u sent the whole army, the pathing would go haywire and your troops would take ages to get anywhere, and theyd arrive at the enemys base 1 by 1 :(

dawn of war 1 did have base building, but tis genius was there was no flood tactics (orchs is the exeption) to win every battle with any fraction as you had to use stratergy to win, and every fraction played so vastly difrent from the other.

If you look at games from the past and compair to gaames now for some reason with all the 15 doller extra DLC from live added to the newer games u get the same amount of game as you would lets say on a ps2 before DLC was ever around
